One of the few restaurants, especially higher end ones, where I took my family and they didn't criticize my choice. We all... agreed that the food was beyond our expectations. It's touted as the best duck in North America, but I think I've had at leaston par; top 3 for sure, though. All the other dishes, though, were some of the best I've ever had. The two dimsum item, I couldeat all day, every day. The spicy fish soup/??? was a surprise hit for us; we ended up drinking all of the soup that is usuallyundrinkable at other restaurants. The only reason I took away a star is because I think our waiter was really pushy with usordering more even though I knew how much the people in my party could eat and water service was very slow. The food was great. A little pricey though. Their traditional soup dumplings were very good. Also the Lobster dish with ginger... and garlic was fresh and flavorful. And if you fancy vegetables try their string beans with garlic and the cucumber salad withgarlic. Delish! As to the ambiance. Very nice and cozy. Though I would rather go for a more comfortable chair than the one wehad. Was like a bench. Not necessarily a booth that every one has to stand up before you can get out. If of course you were thefortunate one at the end. Everything was excellent except for the servers. They were not very friendly or accommodating. We weren't sure if we were going to like the restaurant after looking at the menu but decided to try it out. The food is so... delicious!!!! The soup dumplings and short rib is very good but our favorite was the lobster ma po tofu! We weren't sure iflobster would be good in it, but it was very good. Desserts are delicious as well! Awesome place to enjoy with a partner since you can share every meal with the portions! The dumplings were some of the best... I've ever had and it was overall a very worthwhile dinner. I would recommend ordering dumplings in place of a starter/appetizer. Read more
I've been twice now to Mott 32, and both times it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. First, the staff are... attentive, personable, and friendly. Recommendations they made were delicious and matched our other orders well. Second, thefood is so good, my wife and I have told ANYONE going to Vegas in the last three years that they NEEDED to make reservations forMott 32. Our must try: the soup dumplings. Best I've had. Ok. Decided to try this with my dad. Thought that we should try a place that is fancy, and unique. This was a wonderful... experience. I had reservations, and called to make sure I could reserve the duck. Everything, I mean everything, was above andbeyond. It is expensive, but so good. That staff and very good at what they. Every drink we tried was amazing. Many uniquedrinks that the bartender put together for us. And of course, the food. What the heck... All I wanted was to eat more. Sodelicious! So truly delicious. This is my favorite high end Chinese restaurant. My husband and I have been here several times now. My favorite is the braised... beef which falls off the bone and is super tender. I always get the shrimp fried rice however this time around it was a littletoo soggy but it?s usually cooked perfectly. The dumplings have a soupy consistency when you bite into them which is supertasty. The hot and sour seafood soup was also delicious. The cocktails are original and excellent! The staff is veryaccommodating and friendly. My experience at this restaurant has always been consistent. We look forward to coming back in thefuture. Read more
We used to go to Moat 32 in Hong Kong and Bangkok. A friend of mine reserved a table for me. Unfortunately, forgot to reserve... Peking Duck and BBQ pork. We managed to order Lobster Ma Po tofu, Beef short rib, Grilled Abalone, Fried Snow Pea Tips, FishMaw soup, and Hot & Sour soup. The foods were great with good ingredients. Very tasty.
