My girlfriend's and I had a wonderful experience. Food was fresh and well prepared. Only negative I can say it was expensive. This is probably my favorite place to get sushi in Vegas. Simple rolls, but the quality and taste is second to none. Every... single dish was amazing. The laksa was excellent as well. The iron chef deserves all the accolades. The prices are on par forfine dining. Definitely make reservations if you want to try this place out! Read more
Wow!!! What an amazing experience!!! We had dinner here for my husbands 50th birthday and we will definitely always remember... this experience. The restaurant is simply beautiful. Very tastefully decorated and serene. You are able to have greatconversation during a wonderful dinner. The servers are impeccable as they make you feel like you are the only people in therestaurant. The food is out of this world delicious !!! Everything is fresh and delicious as the plating is thoughtful andbeautifully carried out. Morimotos is an experience not just a dinner. Absolutely loved it! The service was fantastic, we sat at the sushi bar and had a lovely chat with one of the chefs. At least 2... people that day had suggested the sticky ribs so we went ahead and tried them they are delicious, a definite must try on themenu. A crispy deboned whole fish dressed to perfection; a spring mix salad that was light in presentation and consumption, yet... magnificent in flavor; a trio of literal ?fall off the bone finger looking good, smack yo mama deliciousness?? ?what a delightto take such an adventure from land to see, enriched in a variety of Japanese flavors. I expected inflated pricing but it was ridiculous! A TV chef and a high dollar location, I was expecting to spend. At the same... though, I was anticipating a creative iron chef culinary experience. I was thoroughly disappointed. Their visual presentationwas not bad, but everything else was really no different than a decent sushi bar in the suburbs where I live. If you've neverhad sushi, this place might impress you. But for sushi regulars, Morimoto really falls way short! Read more
My friend took me here for my birthday dinner and it was a very nice experience. The ambiance is quiet and intimate, perfect for... a date. I started off with a cocktail and for our entrees we ordered sushi of course lol and a black cod dish. The sushi wasokay, not really special, I?ve had better, but the black cod was to die for. One of the best dishes I?ve tried. The dessert wasover the top and a chocolate lovers dream lol. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth trying. Read more
Really a great dining experience in Vegas (in MGM). You gotta "pay to play" here (certainly understand the prices). Food,... especially the sushi was amazing. Duck rice was also delicious (pictured).
