We celebrated our first anniversary at Michael’s and it was spectacular. The service was impeccable and the food was... excellent. Old school, fine dining, dinner club steak house. Michael’s is a rare find and absolutely worth a look. You won’tbe disappointed. Read more

This place is a hidden gem inside the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa. This place is pure elegance. Places like this are hard to... find unless you are in New York or Chicago. An elegant experience worth your time. I had three waiters serve me fine gourmetfood, dessert inported from all parts of the USA and elegant, tasty food compliments from the chef. A truly wonderful experienceand distraction from everything that is going on in the world. A true escape from reality. Read more
We had no idea what to expect of this place when we decided to walk in, but it was a good dining experience, for sure. The food... was excellent. The crab cakes with housemate tartar sauce was my wife's favorite thing (and I really enjoyed it as well). Thescallops were delicious and the escargot was definitely tasty. We also really enjoyed the French onion soup. We probablyshould have stopped at the appetizers, because we were pretty full after all that. However, we wanted to try some things out,and we got the rack of lamb (which was great). That was probably all we needed to order as it was a full meal complete with sideveggies and a good portion of lamb for each person. Pricing looks steep at first, but it really isn't much different than anyother steakhouse when portions and sides are considered. We spent around $430 (including tip and taxes), but we ordered about3x more than two people normally would. If we came back, we might get crab cakes, French onion soup and a chicken or steak maincourse each. Great service as well. It was a bit confusing at first though. The one and only thing I would say may be betteris if they ditched the veggie platter, rye bread and crackers at the start and swapped them for a fresh baguette with butter orsome type of croissant. The veggies were mostly pickled and pretty unnecessary, in my opinion. Overall, we had a great nightout. Read more

This is a true Vegas experience. It is way off the strip, in the South Point Hotel. The ambience is great. Reservations... recommended. We went with another couple. This is her boss's favorite place to go in Vegas. This was a celebration of both ouranniversaries and turned out to be the most expensive meal we have ever purchased, so be warned. You get your own head waiterand they have a couple of assistants. All tables immediately start with a relish tray and crackers. We then had the crab clawappetizer, followed by Ceasar salad and spinach salad, both made table side which were lovely. We had the sorbet with DomPerignon as a palate cleanser before our main dishes arrived. Three of the four of us had steak, all cooked great. The fourthhad the scampi. I had a side of green beans, and they had creamed corn. Dessert cart is amazing. I chose cheesecake (whichturned into breakfast the next morning). We also got the chocolate cake. Friend got bananas foster, which was wonderful. Theyalso brought us out a tiramisu as an anniversary cake. And a huge bowl of fruit. We took leftovers back to hotel. This is not aplace for kids, I don't care how well behaved they are. I am glad they enforce that rule. Read more
