I've used this location a ton, yet never until recently did you start holding $150 extra for gas. I spent $77 only to check my... bank two days later and see $240~ pending from maverik. Who in their right minds holds $150?? If I'm gonna be assumed to be athief I'll just get my gas from somewhere else. Smiths gas charges $1, and y'all charge $150. Absolutely bonkers to me. Derick the store manager of this location (store 451) and his staff are the best. I cannot thank them enough for their empathy,... patience, and kindness. I stopped at this location and realized I had a flat tire. I did not have any idea what to do but thankgoodness Derick came out of the store to help me change the tire on a really hot day. He was incredibly friendly, patient,reassuring, and educational! He pointed me to what I needed to expect with the tire, where I could go to get a quick fix, andhow I should go about getting new tires for my vehicle. Derick, thank you so much! You were a savior! BEWARE!! This is one of very few gas stations that either need to warn customers at the pump or seriously update their... technology because when paying for gas with a debit card they hold a higher amount then what you actually use and it is NOTreturned in a timely fashion. I had $58 on my card and I stopped and put in $20 worth of gas. They took $58 leaving me with $0.An hour later I went to pay for my lunch and was embarrassed and in a predicament because I had no way of paying for it andinwas with co-workers.. I called Maverick and they did nothing to help the situation. I feel like I have been robbed. On secondthought, I have been robbed. Shame on you for holding my money and not giving it back in a timely fashion like any other gasstation in town does. Read more

We have been on the road for hours and have used some pretty yucky bathrooms, unfortunately. So we were looking forward to... coming back to use this clean Maverick bathroom again. Happy that it was clean and smelled like it too! Thank you so much forstriving to keep the floors and toilets clean. We passed up a whole bunch of other gas stations to fill up here just so we canhave a clean bathroom. Sounds silly but we really do appreciate it! I forgot to mention one more thing the people behind thecashier desk were so nice to us with our twin kids both times we came running in to get them on the toilet. I love Maverik gas station!!!!, amazing coffee ?.
I do not like this gas station. Unfortunately, it's the only one around me with a cinnabon. I have yet to go in to get a... cinnabon, and spend less than 15 minutes in the store. The people behind the counter, will stand there and look at you, andnever once offered to help. The heavy set one, likes to be extremely rude. When I went in one day, there weren't any cinnabonsready. When I asked when they would be ready, she said when I have them ready. The customer service here is absolutelyatrocious.
