Basically hawaiian chipotle/Qudoba. Food was delivered via Uber eats, paid for a large only got 2/3 of the food (a medium). May... be better in person? long story short DO NOT use a delivery app, the restaurant doesn?t care and won?t ensure the right order isgiven (even if the driver expressed concerns). Did not get 1/3 of what we paid for. Will NOT order again. Food itself wasmediocre at best, places like ?L & L? and ?island Flavor? are 10 times better for quality and flavor. Will not visit again. Spicy Poke is to die for? The plate was delicious I actually ordered my food through their website and delivery was by DoorDash.... The reason is because a lot of people complaining missing items so to fix that and avoid issue just order your food throughtheir site not DoorDash. Bonus is was cheaper not by much comparing to DoorDash Read more

First time visiting! Saw their as on Facebook and decided to try them. I'm glad I did as being there led me to Classic Tattoo... through a Google search. Anyways, the ordering was rather simple and the portion was large! I got a medium which means you gettwo meats. I got the chicken katsu and the teriyaki steak. Sides were sweet corn and macaroni salad. I ate it all but coulddefinitely have had leftovers. They had a steady flow of customers so I can tell they are doing something right! Read more

Definitely not worth the money. Order placed on 2/26- ordered a medium plate with all white rice, chicken katsu and teriyaki... steak. Got two small scoops of white rice, 2 scoops of brown rice, small scoop of teriyaki steak and three small pieces ofchicken katsu. The girl at the counter had a horrible attitude so I took my wrong order and left. Immediately emailed thecompany (email address found on website) and got NO RESPONSE. I decided to give them another try today (3/15) hoping my lastexperience was a one off. WRONG!! Ordered the same medium plate with all white rice, chicken katsu and teriyaki steak. Ireceived what looked like half scoops of rice, small scoop of teriyaki steak and five small pieces of chicken katsu. Definitelynot worth the money especially when you pay extra for the teriyaki steak. I sent a follow up email but not holding my breath.Shame, they used to be good. Read more

I was looking for something different to eat for lunch. Using Google maps to find food places near me and this place caught my... eye. After reading some reviews, I decided to try it out. I got two choices of meat, two sides and white rice. The chicken katsuwas cold and dry. It was a little crispy but overall it?s not fresh. The shredded pork is good but also cold. The chicken wingswas very dry and cold. I guess it?s your basic Hawaiian fast food restaurant. No hot dish everything was cold. Unlike L&L thatstill serves your hot and fresh dishes. The macaroni salad is a little salty for my taste and it has big chunks of potato in it.I don?t know why? Overall, I am not impressed after paying $23.00 for a cold meal. Staff was friendly and mask is not required. Read more

Gave it a 5 for staff, timeliness and flavor, just wish they have lomi lomi salmon and poi to round out the plate lunch... experience ???? SSOOOO appreciate no cabbage in the kalua pig. Mac salad was on point, mochiko wings threw me off, thought itwas teri chicken! Taste was still good but I'm a "crusty" mochiko chicken kinda girl. We will be back! Read more

This place was a little gem that we didn't mean to go to. Wanted to hit the asian noodle place a few doors down but line was... out the door. Found this place instead and enjoyed a great lunch of fresh Hawaiian bbq. Service was done right and menu waseasy to figure out. The food was fresh and tasty - and there is a nice outdoor dining space to boot. Read more

I've been coming to Makai Pacific Island Grill for years. A friend recommended I try their food because I love Hawaiian Cuisine.... I was never disappointed with the taste of their food. Delicious flavors are the same. I usually get the medium plate where youcan get 2 scoops of white or brown rice, 2 entrees, & 2 sides. My favorite medium plate has 2 scoops of brown rice, TeriyakiChicken & Katsu w/corn and mac salad. Highly recommend eating there. Prices are reasonable. Read more
