The service was excellent, but the food was bland and subpar, I cannot recommend this place. Just based on the service, I know... if we had said some thing they would’ve tried to get us another dish. But that awkward conversation of “we don’t like anyof this” was more than we were willing to have. Having three out of three be a miss, it’s more than just a dish replacementcan do. I know they’re trying, and I’m sure it’s full of passionate people, but they need to take a hard look at theirfood. They were missing seasoning on so many things, the mashed potatoes were even lackluster. We had the chicken, duck and seabass. Sea bass and duck were OK, but they were served with nearly inedible accruements. The chicken was all around bad. Dry,stiff. Hot in some places and warm in others, also with a lackluster seasoning. I came here with a few friends because the reviews were great and one of the friends was visiting from out of town and wanted to... try the food here. Everything seemed great until the food arrived. For an appetizer, I split the short rib dumpling with afriend and that was pretty decent. My entree was the sea bass which was also decent. Very unimpressive although the fish tastedfresh. The next entree that was ordered was the lamb salad which my friend thought was great! The third entree was the Santachicken which my 2nd friend really enjoyed and the last entree wad the wagyu burger which ended up being incrediblydisappointing. It was very gross and the waiter never asked how we wanted the meat to be cooked. It tasted like roast beef andit was very dry. The loaded creamer potatoes also tasted like Taco Bells loaded potatoes. Overall, we had 3 decent tastingplates but were also knocking down a point because it was so hot inside the restaurant one of our friends had to go to thebathroom to splash water on her face. It's nice to see downtown Las Vegas and Main st continue to come alive. Popped in for a quick snack with friends visiting from... out of town. The Harissa carrots were nicely roasted and charred offering a very unique flavor profile - the plate is worth ashare. Not many places offer scotch eggs but this chorizo crusted one was unique and flavorful. Finished off with a wonderfulblack Negroni and pleasant conversations with the bartenders. A return visit is needed to sample the rest of the menu. Read more
Chef Justin and Manager Kim have made every experience at Main Street Provisions memorable, unique, comfortable, and delicious.... The ambiance is cozy, clean, and retro with a touch of your cool aunt’s vintage furniture and a sleek modern bar. The food isnostalgic, savory, and scrumptious. We are always impressed with the interesting mix of ingredients that plays with texture andflavor in ways we’ve never seen before, but always seem to work. However, its the service that really stands out. Even in abig city, we walk in and know that Kim’s going to stop by and say hi and on special occasions they always know how to make usfeel extra cared for. We are so grateful to have an American restaurant that treats the food, cocktails, and people the way theyshould be treated. We will continue to return and bring our friends and visitors! Guys — do this. My husband and I come to Las Vegas every year and dinner in the arts district has become a last night... tradition. MSP is the best last night experience we have ever had! We had the scotch egg, orchard and field salad, corn muffins,duck and for dessert the basque cheesecake. Every dish was more savory and delicious than the last. Get to this restaurant. Great food in a trendy setting. The menu seems to change frequently as some of the items I saw in other posts weren’t there.... The dishes are delicious and utilize wild game meats like venison and rabbit, and everything was cooked to perfection. Servicewas friendly and fast. Totally would come back again when I’m in Vegas. Wow. Great experience! I wanted to take my Mom to a sophisticated and creative dining experience and Main St. Provisions did not... disappoint. The Usual cocktail was outstanding and beautifully garnished. The food was creative and fun. I recommend talking tothe server about the menu options to ensure ordering something you'll enjoy. Service was on point. Our server, Robert wasfriendly, professional and helpful. The manager, Lisa, came by for a table visit. She was engaging and friendly and theconversation with her made my Mom feel special. I ordered the smoked duck breast. Delicious! Excellent quality meat that wasprepared perfectly. The sauce was a wonderful compliment to the dish and had a wonderful citrus zing that I wasn't sure I wouldlike but turned out to be amazing. A delicious beet salad rounded out the dish. ???????? Hands down the best meal I had while in Vegas. I found this place on a number of lists and food blogs and figured it would be... worth trying and it definitely did not disappoint. They are known for their craft cocktails and they deliver. The staff isenthusiastic and knowledgeable. We started off with the quinoa hush puppies and crispy things which has calamari, shrimp, andzucchini. We also ordered the roasted Spanish octopus, seasonal fish, butter whipped potatoes, and Caesar salad. This is theperfect place to order a bunch of small plates, an entree, and sides to share. There was nothing that I didn’t like.Everything was fresh and had great flavor. The staff was super fun and made us feel really welcomed. It was a nice escape frombeing on the strip. I’d definitely return next time I’m in town. It seems they keep their menu on rotation and always havenew things to try. Read more
