Came here this past Sunday. First time in along time since it was called the Grande Cafe. My husband and I checked it out online... and wanted to see what the menu was like because a long time friend of mine was coming into town to visit. First off theservers were sweet. We ordered our food. 1st My husbands burger was amazing, 2nd the tomatoes soup with the pennini grill cheesewas delicious my daughter ate that, my other daughter ordered the chicken Parmesan -unfortunately the chicken was hard to cutthrough, the sauce tasted like spaghetti-Os from the can of CHEF BOY-RD. Spaghettis were over cooked. She wasn?t happy. Shedidn?t eat it all only tasted it. I then ordered the Brick Chicken well it was hard like a brick couldn?t cut through it same asmy daughters chicken Parmesan. As for my friends and her husbands order were ok. Don?t get me wrong the brick chicken had a goodseasoning taste. But it was not tender. Chicken should be tender. I give it a 2star. It can be better. I hope. I really likethis place. It?s comfortable but need some extra love on the food. Thank you. Read more

The Fresh Freesias on the table were the icing on the cake. We had an early morning weekend shopping day in Downtown Summerlin... and Best Buy electronics, topped off by brunch at Red Rock Hotel's Lucky Penny Restaurant. Delicious food, reasonably priced, and a gorgeous presentation on the table and in amenities. For coffee fans, they bring a cup and a small stainless coffee potfor the table. I decided to also try the Cappuccino. Simply perfect. We chose to sit outside on the patio seating this Saturdaymorning, which is a great Fall weather option. I must say, the location, food, and presentation were all wonderful, but I dobelieve the very best part of being there was the staff. They were so personable, good-natured, smiling, and obviously enjoyedbeing there. It was almost as if we had 3 wait staff! They frequented the table and chatted with us for a moment here and thereto check on us. We tipped them double the norm for a brunch/lunch - 20%. They were that good. Read more

I never thought I would have to give a casino cafe a bad review especially, this one. Stay away from the cafe no matter how... hungry you are. The food had no seasoning, the meat and home potato fries were bland. My sister ordered pasta and we broughtit home to our dog. I should have got the hint when there was almost nobody else in the restaurant other than the employees. On top of that, the waitress brought our food and never came back to ask if we needed anything else and she forgot my Coke. Ihad to track down a bunch of employees huddle in front of the register talking, right next to us and, have them, find mywaitress. None of them offered to help me even tho they were doing nothing but standing around having private and personalconversations that I did not want to hear about. No seasoning on prime rib or home potatoes, um No! They did have a bunch ofdesserts and they did look yummy but after the aftertaste in my mouth from the nasty food I couldn't have anything else. Don't say my review did not warn y'all. Oh, I forgot the Calamari was delicious. Read more

From the start we had to wait quite a while (no appointment) - gambled a bit to pass the time. After we were seated our waiter... seemed to be extremely busy (to many tables). The food was served in an acceptable time. Everything tasted OK - our burgerswere either well prepared or too dry (at least fries were good). While eating we noticed, that the room was very loud and it wasdifficult to understand each other - many people talking, echoing acoustics and the sounds of the casino. In the end I wasbaffled that our waiter just brought the bill without asking if we are finished. I initially wanted to order a dessertafterwards but was told that they don?t have ?pie? - the ?Mud Pie? is clearly featured on their dessert menu online. In anutshell, a mixed experience. Read more

Open 24/7 with amazingly tasty food and very reasonably priced. I was impressed especially because eating on the strip has... become notoriously expensive. Everything was cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor popping. Make sure to ask your server fortheir recommendation. Read more

We lucked out at the Lucky Penny. We went to the Red Rock Casino for lunch and entertainment. It was a little too late for lunch... but too early for dinner. A few of the restaurants we tried to dine at weren?t open yet so we had to choose here. It turned outto be wonderful because everyone was extremely happy with their meal. I ordered the seafood chowder in the bread bowl. It wasdelicious. They have a great assortment of elevated diner dishes. We ordered a few baked goods from the bakery on our way out.So yummy. 5-4-2022 Ordered carryout. Service was great. -French Onion Salisbury Steak: This would've been tastier if it weren't so salty.... The gravy, mashed potatoes, sourdough bread and Salisbury steak were all very salty. Steak was slightly chewy. People probablylove this after a night of drinking. The broccoli offsets then saltiness. Would've been nice if the bread and potatoes were lesssalty to balance the meal. Read more

Service for food delivery at the bar is incredibly slow regardless of time (I've hit all three traditional meal times). But... when I sit at a table, food is delivered very quickly. Not sure why the difference. Read more
