I have been here a few times and just realized I hadn't did a review of it yet ! This is one of my favorite places for... breakfast . My son and I really like the Chicken Fried Steak . You can tell it is handmade with cube steak and not a frozenpatty . The cinnamon rolls are also homemade with good icing , not too sweet like cinnabon . They also have preserves that aremade by the owner , and the raspberry is out of this world . I sometimes buy a small mason jar to take home . The biscuits arefluffy , grits cooked just right , and eggs cooked perfectly could have used another one . We will be coming back and lookingforward to trying other things . You have to be careful driving here because you will easily pass it as I did the first time . The employees are very nice too . Read more
Great first impression here. My first time here and it's just amazing. They gave us samples to try of homemade jams that are... made in house daily, the staff wonderful and friendly. The food amazing. I had the pastrami reuben omelet...delicious. Irecommend trying. You won't be disappointed. Read more
Lovely atmosphere and some of the best diner food I've ever had. It's in a completely inconspicuous location, but what a gem.... Definitely recommending it to anyone who comes to Vegas if they want a delicious breakfast off the strip! Came here on a Sundaymorning and got the Curtis's Platter and coffee. Food was absolutely delicious - crispy hashbrowns and bacon, homemade jams. Idon't think I can ever go back to a Waffle House. Service was friendly and quick, and the inside just feels homey. Very affordable. Delicious. Came to the table super quickly. Amazing service from everyone there. They open the door for you... when you enter and exit. A cozy little family diner experience that is uncommon in Vegas. They make their own jams that arebrought out when you're seated. It's definitely a hidden gem. Read more
The only place that I got to visit that was off the strip and quite possibly the best pancakes I've had ever, even though that's... not saying much since I haven't had a lot of pancakes, let alone, ones in America. This however was special, because it made mehappy. Because of that metric, it takes the top place. They served some crackers with some homemade jams while we waited for ourfood, honestly it's the little things like that round off the experience. This was by far one of my favorite restaurants on my Las Vegas Vacation. It's a little diner off the beaten path that has been... around for generations. It's a local favorite and now one of mine. Every guest is served a sampler of home made jams uponseating. The flavors rotate seasonably. They also feature homemade desserts made by the owners wife. The food is amazing. Lou's quickly became the "go to" diner for my whole house. From the friendly faces greeting you at the door to the sticky home... made jam they bring to each table. Lou's should get more than 5 stars in my opinion. The food is always fast and hot, With noexception for deliciousness. The waiters are always in the zone, quickly bringing food to the tables. Though the location is alittle small, the overall feel is one of cozy, homey awesomeness. Read more
