We shared the fish and shrimp ceviche and it could be better. The fish and shrimp was a little over cooked. Then I got the... salmon and shrimp fajitas. The caramelized onions and shrimp was unseasoned and bland. The salmon was overcooked and had avinegary taste to it. The rice and salsa and chips were good. The menu and presentation looked great but the actual food couldbe better. I'll give them another shot. Read more

TLDR: Steak fajitas were great, margs good, everything else average at best. The wife and I came here on a Saturday evening for... dinner. Surprisingly not crowded at all. We ate outside on the patio. Here's the breakdown: Chips and salsa - Very average. Thechips were hard and tasted almost store bought and the salsa wasn't very flavorful. Having been to other Mexican restaurants outhere where the chips are light, tasty and many different salsa choices along with a tasty bean dip, I was ratherdisappointed. Music - When we got there they had a "DJ" playing music. I put that in quotes because he wasn't exactly a DJ, buthe had lights going and songs playing. And it wasn't an enjoyable experience. First, he was all over the place. We went fromCardi B to George Michael to Banda to Cumbia and all were just sudden. To top it off, every 2 minutes he was lowering the musicto remind us that happy hour was all day Mondays and Tuesdays and other promos they have. Once he started packing and the radiomusic they had on was playing, it had a nice vibe. Margs - We each had one. I had a Raspberry and the wife had a Paloma. Wethought it was really tasty. I didn't think the price was terrible considering the taste and size. Food - We ended up orderingthe mixed fajitas with steak and shrimp for 2. Portions wise, it was perfect. We normally don't finish a 2 person tray (probablybecause chips and salsa are good so we actually eat those), but this was perfect. Sides were really average. Rice was good andbeans were alright; nothing to write home about. The steak, though, was fantastic. The flavor was great, they were nice sizestrips but were real easy to eat. As a fajitas fan, I thought these were up there. Overall, just mostly average, but might comeback again just to get and tray of those fajitas. Read more

Came here for dinner after a group run with more than 10 people. They were able to accommodate us on a Tuesdat evening. Our... server was great. He split up our checks with ease. I had the Mexican Bowl with beef from the healthier options menu. It wasvery good and presented well. I'd go back again. Read more

Unbelievable.... Taco bell has a quadruple value of taste to cost ratio. I ordered a burrito with carne asada. I got all the fat... edges. Since when does table side guacamole cost 15 dollars. All their menu items are way over priced, I don't mind paying forgood food. This place if you can't tell by now fell way short of the bar. Read more

We ate lunch at Los Cucos today for the first time. We both ordered the 2 item combo of a Chicken Fajita Enchilada with Verde... Sauce and a Chicken Quesadilla with rice and beans. The Verde Sauce was very flavorful but not hot. The Quesdilla was deliciousbut a little on the greasy side. The rice and beans were very good, too. My one complaint at this restaurant and most allrestaurants is that they don't put the price of their soft drinks on the menu. I asked and was told a Diet Coke is $2.99 butwe were charged $3.49 which I think is way out of line for something that costs them almost nothing in comparison to liquor. Read more

Los Cucos has opened it?s second location in Summerlin ( W Charleston Blvd. and S Fort Apache Rd. ) . We absolutely love it !... Delicious food, amazing staff and service! One of my favorite restaurants in the city, it's a must try if you love Mexicanfood! The most traditional mexican restaurant I have found. Everything from the food to the music and outfits. Love theatmosphere and decor. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly. The food truly represents authentic Mexicancuisine of a high quality. Large portions. Reasonable prices. The fajitas were so juicy and flavorful with thick strips. Thetortillas were home made and really good. Everything was very well done and definitely a spot to check out if you haven'talready. They have a full bar and their drinks are delicious! Overall: The food was fantastic and the fresh margaritas wereawesome. The staff and the management is super friendly and attentive . Extremely welcoming atmosphere. Highlyrecommended!!! Will definitely be back!!! Read more
