The food was really good, service was great and drinks were tasty. The table (two person) was a little small which made it a... little tricky when food arrived. It was also pretty loud, but it was busy. All in all it was a nice dinner. Read more
This is authentic Italian dining! I should have written down the spelling, but we had their rosemary bread, a fish based tar... tar, rigatoni, and I know I'm working this wing, but it was something like straccia. All of it was served family style, soeveryone gets some! Most of the dishes were in the 26 dollar range (unless you get into specific steaks and such, I'm talkingpastas, pizzas, etc) and with the two of us we still took some home. The wines are very Italian, and are their on the more mildside. The wines are where you'll spend some money. Per glass starts at about 15 and bottles start at about 65. If you are nota wine drinker, this is very affordable fine dining. If you are it can get out of the ballpark pretty quickly. Read more
In A Nutshell: -La Strega is a highly rated restaurant by Eater. -Chef Gina Marinelli's restaurant in South Summerlin is REALLY... good. -It definitely has a nice Italian niche that I haven't tasted before, especially if you love seafood. -The Peruvian BayScallops are a MUST-ORDER. -For a pasta, the Bucatini was also a hit along w/ the main, which this time was the Grilled SpanishBranzino (de-boned whole fish). -My mouth is watering writing about the above dishes & trust me everything else on the menusounded good. -For dessert, we went with the beautifully presented Lavender Panna Cotto, downed w/ a tiny, cute French PressCoffee. Overall, this is such a neighborhood gem, that is easy to get to, lot's of parking, in a quiet part of town. Theinside decor is also very beautiful, we heard it took two interior designers taking their time to create everything. It's aliving piece of art....one last shout out were the STAFF, they were ALL A-M-A_Z-I-N-G :) Read more
I love when they get us the table that we have requested. (Means, I don’t like where they can be snobby and even it’s open,... and can be scheduled ahead, they won’t) The food, knowledge of their own meals, friendliness but polite, the best thing isthat these ingredients that they use are not that you can all get from Wholefoods. I love these restaurants where it’sdifficult to make the same at home because this is why we pay for!! Would I come back?? Hell yes!! Read more

La Strega is an interesting little Italian restaurant on the far west side of Las Vegas. Keep in mind that if you’re visiting... Vegas and staying on the Strip as we were, it’s a bit of a drive to get to. That said, it’s worth the trip. The food wasquite phenomenal. I was impressed with their attention to detail with localizing the cuisine to coastal Italian specialities.Their main focus is seafood based pastas although there is a respectable variety to the menu. The pastas were extremely good. The scallop appetizer was a chef’s dream, with perfectly refined flavors and excellent presentation, and the calamari wasbattered to perfection. The wait staff did an excellent job of helping to navigate the menu so we didn’t order something thatdidn’t make sense when considering food quantities for two people. The ambiance is quaint but pleasant. It was a greatexperience and worth the taxi fare to drive across town from our hotel. Read more
1st time here. Ordered the salad whose main ingredient and 1st listed ingredient is ARUGULA. We were served a plate of iceberg... lettuce. Had to send it back 2x. Bramzino was amazing. Light and flavorful. Love the capers. Vegan pasta with veggies was a hit.I ordered a delicious cocktail that was served in a whimsical peacock ceramic cup. Would order 5 of those if I could handle it.Matt, our server, was super helpful. The other Staff were attentive and we never had a dirty table. All in all would go backagain Read more
