Reviews for Jaleo in Las Vegas, NV
Place is not cheap but is the food delicious. Ate at bar, got the tasting menu and a couple of drinks. Bill was $100+.... Surprisingly my favorite dish the spinach. The addition of raisins, pine nuts and secret sauce was sublime. The flan was beyondamazing. It\'s probably one of the best I\'ve ever had. Carne asada was meh if not for the sauce. Otherwise it would have beentasteless. A glass of Spanish wine and sangria at happy hour prices rounded out the meal Read more
Good tapas. Tried the Tour of Espana. Delicious. Showed up 15 minutes early and still got us seated. I even liked the gazpacho... and I’m not a fan of cukes. Shrimp was out of this world good. Endive salad was delicious. Friend ordered the wine tour withhers and the wine and food rarely arrived at the same time. It was super busy and our waiter was a great guide for our firstvisit. Everyone was super chill. Even the table was cleared for each new course. Read more
Loved the atmosphere, drinks were great, food met my expectations. It was without a doubt good and I enjoyed it but I think the... reputation hyped this place up a bit much for me.\n\nHearing about their incredible open-flame paella grill, I was reallyexcited for paella. One BIG thing that I wish I know going on and that I didn\'t see from their website is that their paellaisn\'t on the menu. There\'s a reason for this. They actually rotate through paellas daily. I was psyched for a seafood paella, but the day we went it was a chicken and vegetable paella. It was still good, but if I had known their schedule or knew therewas a schedule and called ahead, I probably would have picked a different day to go. Also, it\'s not served in a paella pan, sothat delicious crunchy socarrat formed at the bottom of the pan was completely absent. I\'m surprised they didn\'t add it on theplate on which they served the paella.\n\nAs it\'s not on the menu, for those curious on the price it was $32 for what felt likea one-person entree size. This was October 2022 for context.\n\nOverall, I enjoyed the restaurant and would recommend if you arein the mood for tapas and Spanish food. Read more
We went to Las Vegas for our anniversary and chose Jaleo inside the Cosmopolitan on the strip for our last dinner of the trip.... We booked on line and showed up a bit early and they were able to seat us.\n\nThe venue is open concept, and they are set up forlarge groups and small ones. We had a wonderful corner table with a view of the whole restaurant. The decor is modern andeclectic with Spanish accents. Over our table was a bullhead wearing a wrestling mask.\n\nThe restaurant is Spanish style tapas.Small dishes to share. Our server Zahir was excellent. He provided what I can only describe as a briefing on how to read themenu, how best to experience the dishes, the order to try them, and drinks to try. When my girlfriend asked for hisrecommendations he didn\'t do the lame, all our dishes are great approach. He went through each section of the menu and made 2recommendations in each area. When we ordered he assessed what we ordered and gave us a green light and told us we made goodchoices. We felt he really wanted us to have an amazing dinner.\n\nFor drinks we had a sparkling white Sangria. It was amazing.Would go back just for that.\n\nThe staff was attentive but not hovering.\n\nWe had an outstanding experience and wouldrecommend this place to anyone.\n\n$$$-$$$$ Read more
Came for dinner and ordered the tasting and added the dates. What a great selection of items. You get a couple of options in 2... of the courses. The flan was absolutely amazing at the end. So incredibly silky. Read more
The datiles (dates wrapped in bacon), were mind-blowingly good. Fennel and apple salad was refreshing. The paella came out a... little cold (wish we had waited for a fresh batch). Patatas bravas were a little underwhelming for all the hype as they feltlike rubbery pieces of sightly fried potato cubes. Service was A+ and the ambience was ok - I\'m glad the restaurant sits faraway from the casino Read more
Jaleo by Jose Andres is an amazing dining experience great for close friends in small or large groups to share the foods tapas... style. It’s in the beautiful cosmopolitan hotel and casino and has a very unique and cool ambience itself though the seatingaround the edges isn’t the most comfortable. The food was excellent from the iberico ham, garlic shrimp, and steak, but notforgetting the best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had wow!! How server Sunny was extremely attentive and knowledgeable making thewhole experience truly conducive to a great night out. Read more
We went here for our anniversary dinner and they really helped accommodate all of our requests. I loved the experience of each... bite and would love to come back again.\n\nEvery item from the sangria to the happy hour bites to each and every dish I orderedwas so great. It’s best to go on the recommendations of your servers based on what you like. But we enjoy funky and acidic andstrong umami flavors.\n\nThe Ensaladilla Ucraniana was my favorite. Along with the Coco Escalivada y Anchoa. But the Cono SalmonCrudo and mini Pepito de Iberico were delicious as well. Get every bite from the HH menu. Highly recommend. Read more
