Reviews for Il toro e la capra in Las Vegas, NV
Eclectic mix of Italian and Mexican cuisine. Great service, food and prices. They had live entertainment and started you out... with a complimentary trio of dipping sauces along with tortilla chips and fresh warm rolls. Read more
This was an amazing surprise. After parking and able to appreciate the exterior I was impressed. Walking in we were getting by... 2 pleasant smiling genuinely nice young hostesses. Immediately there is a lot to take in with the presentation and attention todecorating. There is a small roaming musical ensemble again smiling and seemingly enjoying what they do. Once seated you beginto realize the size of the restaurant. It actually has 2 levels with decorative spiral staircase. There is a full bar as welland has seating. I could go on but you just need to experience it for yourself. Wait staff (Angel) is a breath of fresh air.Old ways nearly white glove affair. Respectful but helpful and congenial. Assistants were nearly at your elbow, watchful andanticipated your needs. The menu is full of things you will want to try but too much for one sitting. Oh well, will just need tocome back again and again. It is definitely an interesting Italian/Mexican fusion - Osso Bucco Fajitas and Flan Brulle. Breadfor the table was mixed with chips accompanied by salsa and oil/ vinegar. We started with Vongole In Brodetto. Save some breadfor dipping. They had Osso Bucco but in risotto. I noticed another dish was made with Pappardelle pasta. I asked the waiter ifhe thought the chef with possibly modify the Osso Bucco and swap Pappardelle for the risotto. He quickly came and stated itwould not be a problem. As I posted before I really enjoy the pasta over the risotto and I know this request might not bewelcomed, however, it came out perfectly plated. Flavors were wonderful and we really had an enjoyable dinner, already planningor next visit at the table. My dish was so filling I couldn't try the Flan Brulle???? Again the service and room were great, the food done very well. Highly recommended???????? Read more
Fusion of food between Italian and Mexican. Not something I really thought of before, but the restaurant really made it work.... The food was great and we were able to combine things from both cultural groups for our party. I especially like the selectionof appetizers that were available. The staff were friendly and very responsive. They were also very proactive. I don't thinkmy soda or our waters ever got close to being finished. They were always quickly filled. All in all, great place for lunch. Ican't wait to try them for dinner. Read more

It is just beautiful in here. I was not able to come when it was Rhythm Kitchen so I am not sure what changed or not decor wise... but the ceilings are amazing and the staircase when you come in is special. We ate at lunch right before noon so it was not toobusy which was relaxing. The booth was comfortable and the food was good. I had the Marsala and the vegetables were especiallytasty. My mom had the chicken pesto sandwich and really liked it. We will try the Mexican food next time :) Read more

The decor is beautiful. Gorgeous restaurant. The food was unimpressive. The soup was served cold. The taco combo came out with... the shredded cheese not even melted. The Parmesan chicken burrito was a good size, but the chicken was dry. The drinks had noliquor taste and super small glasses. Calamari was good and really fresh. Overall disappointing experience.
