We?ve been trying all the vegan spots since we landed in Vegas! Ike?s is one of the best ones so far. It is by far the best... sandwiches I?ve had in my 10 years of being vegan! We ordered the Pee Wee, Sometimes I?m a Vegetarian, James and the Giantpeach, Reading Rainbow and Beast Mode (for non vegan). Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches. Today was our first time trying Ikes. So sad! My husband, daughter and I were looking forward to trying what seemed to be a... great place for us to order sandwiches. Mine, a Steph Curry, was on the gluten free bread. The bread is so hard, leathery, andunedible. The inside was just as bad. There was no bbq sauce, which was suppose to be on it, no provolone, which was suppose tobe on it. The turkey was good, but this came with onions and pickles, which were not suppose to be on it. I am sitting hereeating an open faced sandwich with a fork, just picking out the turkey meat to eat. My daughters sandwich also had ooions and pickles on it, that weren't suppose to be on it. She can't eat it because she hates pickles and it reeks of pickle. Themozzarella sticks came without dipping sauce. My husband's sandwich came with everything messed up too. He just left to go toCapriotti's to get more sandwiches.. we had hoped to have a night off from cooking because it's so hot today. Now he's out intraffic trying to get our dinner...again. Do not sleep on this place! It?s a sandwich shop near Spring Valley in a Fabulous Freddys Gas Station (there are other... locations). I got the (Name of the girl I?m Dating) and my fiancé got Paul?s Reuben. Both were delicious. We got our daughterthe kids chicken fingers which were lightly breaded and she loved them.
