Wow. Heavenly Pies gives a true meaning to pizza. The thin crust is soft yet has a tender crunchiness. The shrimp adds a unique... flavor to the pizza and the fresh leafy basil leaves a lasting taste to the taste buds. Handcrafted pizza at its best. Read more
Pizza hard to mess up but hard to master! Was very excited to try the pies here based on the reviews but was very disappointed... both in product and service. They forgot the basil until they handed me my to go order, then on the way home called me becausethey forgot another ingredient, they offered to me two free toppings, I said I don't know if I would go back since this is firsttime and I haven't tasted anything yet and asked for a refund of the topping($6 or $8.... I forget) they said they needed tocall me back and never did. The garlic knots weren't very garlicky and they were burnt, enough that we didn't finish 1 out ofthe 4 we got. It's about time we have really good food in Southern Highlands. I am sick of the five Mexican restaurants, five pizza joints and... five nail salons in Southern Highlands all within a one mile Square radius of Ace hardware. But I digress, you would think aJames Beard award-winning Chef would know how to make chicken strips? And you would be right, they are light, fluffy, dipped ina light panko type breading Sprinkles with parsley and the fries have a nice dousing of sea salt and ranch dressing is almostperfect. I would say a little more garlic puree and make it more close to a aioli/Ranch using heavy mayo. I'm just nitpickingbut the plain old pepperoni pizza is where it's at! It is Sublime borderline heavenly. Kudos you will make a lot of the trophywives in Southern Highlands happy in addition to feeding the Mayweather entourage. For the rest of us the Pizza is a 10, butdon't ever stop making stellar chicken strips! I am looking forward to coming back and having an authentic Gnocchi special, notpasta, but potato with a fresh garlic Parmigiano crema sce.???? Read more
Surprisingly delicious. Sure they have wonderful pizza with a nice handmade dough and crispy crust, unique and delicious... ingredients. But, they also have "to die for" pasta dishes, fresh ingredients, blended subtle flavors and old world recipeswith a modern touch. Cuisine you would expect in an expensive high end restaurant. The pepperoni pizza for lunch was really good. The ingredients were fresh and high end. I returned that evening and had dinner.... We had meatball with marinara sauce and polenta. The meatball was perfectly seasoned and as you would expect from the master ofsauce Chef Pellegrini, marinara sauce was delicious. Roasted chicken was very flavorful and unique(you have to try it!). We alsohad philly cheese steak egg rolls. When you bite into it you can feel the crispy egg roll skin along with the rich flavor of thesteak and cheese. Absolutely heavenly. Read more

We?re lucky to have a chef with this kind of experience. We?re native Las Vegas, so we know the difference. Chef?s culinary... training is second to none. Best lasagna we?ve ever had. The penne shrimp Americana has complex amazing flavor that only a chefof this caliber can deliver to the table. The menu is very clean and light.we also recommend the caprese salad.
