We had dinner outdoors by the rock wall and waterfall on a perfect evening. From the start we were greeted by friendly and... thoughtful staff that guided us to our reserved table. Attentive waiters took our orders and kept our wafer glasses full andtable clean. Food was okay this time for me. The flavor was jist lacking in my salmon dish, I've had better here before butthe deserts were on point. Hubby did love his pork chop though. I've been here with friends for Happy Hour and the food wasmuch better. 4 stars for exceptional service and ambiance, highly recommend Happy Hour and desserts here. Read more
Great place for Happy Hour. They offer patio service, high pub-style tables, a cozy sitting area with sofas and stuffed chairs... and a dining room. It's an open floor plan that allows you to see the just about everything. We had 20 in our party and yet, alldrinks and Happy Hour food was served timely and correctly. Service was great! The staff is accommodating and awesome. Thank youHawthorn Grill. We are definitely coming back for another Happy Hour. By the way, our "birthday gal" was given a special treatas shown in the pic. Great time and great food! I am a prime beef fan and as you'd expect, the steaks were amazing; but what I'd like to focus on, ... and what set Hawthorne apart, is the sides. I had a wedge salad with some of the best smoked bacon I've ever had. Then that samebacon accompanied the Brussels sprouts with balsamic and I've got to say, all sides will now be measured against the offeringsfrom Hawthorne. Absolutely top marks! Read more
I'm dissapointed to write this review but I must tell the truth. Although the restaurant is very nice,(Don't let the pictures... fool you) the food was horrible. From the appetizers, to table bread, salad and main course.... All had issues. Gave feedback tomanager and he confirmed the vendor for bread was only vendor in town due to Vegas that could supply them and agreed bread wasan issue as it has zero taste. The Cesar salad was exceptionally sour. The shrimp scampi lacked sauce and was extremely bland.The crab claws were about the only item that wasn't bad. We were seated outdoors on a very nice patio with water elements andfire pit. But, several kids (6) from tables inside were running and playing during our entire visit. Manager tried to stop thembut it didn't help as their parents didn't appear to care. It was a very disappointing experience. For the money and location Iexpected better.... Read more
Came here to use food credit vouchers which came with our vacation package. Food is over-priced. Service is decent. My espresso... martini and dessert was good. Seafood tower was underwhelming for its ticket price. Onion soup was good. Entrees were ok.Scallops not as sweet as we hoped. Read more
This is one of the best places in Las Vegas and the Summerlin area! Always a great Happy Hour with good food selections. The... artichoke spinach dip is a must!! As well as the Italian meatballs!! Great with a glass of wine!! The patio is really awesome tosit out on and there are misters. A more cozy atmosphere is the couch area and this is great especially during a Golden Knightsgame as there is a large flat screen TV on top of the fireplace facing the couch and 2 side chairs. Dinners are really superhere and the steaks always cooked to the customers requests. The French onion soup is the absolute best!! The service is alwaysfirst class and the whole staff makes you feel right at home!! Happy Hour is popular go early and expect a bit of a wait. Wellworth it! A total gem!! Read more
