My entire party was famished when we arrived. They were quick & helpful. I had the BBQ Chicken & Texas Brisket, great flavor,... big pieces, cooked just so it?ll pull away from the bone. Yum. & don?t get me started on Dave?s mac. TG I got only a sideportion. Addictive. I would have given 5 ??s if the had brown, red, or amber ail. Sadly, only lite or IPA????. The meat was good no lie. But why they send me this cornbread like this? No I ain?t pick at it either. The mashed potatoes were... ok but that bacon was hard asl. The Mac was bland. Famous Dave?s Quick Que is a nice concept. If you like the regular Famous Dave?s this is the same except you order it cafeteria... style, everything is on a steam table or in warmers so there is no waiting. There is a smaller menu from a regular restaurantbut most of your favorites are here. Both times I have been here it was slow which actually is a good indicator of the foodquality. Because everything is already cooked there is a chance it could dry out especially when it is slow. But everything wasperfect, the chicken was juicy, the brisket moist and tender, and the ribs were fall off the bone. So a good place to stop byfor a nice quick meal. Read more
Famous Dave's is a chain restaurant but they do a darn good job with their smoked meats. The brisket has a good Smoky flavor... even though the coloring may not be as legit as you want to see. The ribs are also very good with their thick rub that creates anice bark. It's not Texas barbecue but it's pretty good if you're looking for a decent barbecue flavor in town. Read more
