Was immediately greeted by management when we walked in. Their yea machine overflowed and when I notified them, the manager... immediately came out and cleaned it up. I'd say this guy leads by example! I didn't catch his name but we were there at 11amSaturday October 1. Not sure who reads these reviews, but he deserves to be commended! Store was clean. Food is usually pretty good, but I don?t go as often as I?d like because of the wait for your sandwich. I spent 20 minutes... waiting for 1 sandwich. That?s nearly an entire lunch break. If service sped up, I?d go more often. Read more
What a shame. I spent $23 for Caesar salad, tomato soup and meat ball sandwich. The salad was small for $8.99 with tiny pieces... of chicken. Tomato soup was awful, took 2 spoonful and had to throw it away. Campbell soup was better. Meatball sub was ok. Iwent to Jason?s Deli and for $2 more got the best salad ever! I'm going to write this review with the knowledge that most new businesses tend to have a few kinks in their initial stage of... opening. Usually for the first one or two months. This Earl of Sandwich located on Rainbow and the 215 is no exception. Both thefood and service need a little more work as this restaurant didn't thrill me with either. The food was nothing more than fairaccording to my friend who had a tuna melt and is a big fan of Earl of Sandwich restaurants. And my cobb salad was, let's justsay, less than perfect. The cashier didn't listen to the order carefully and wrapped our order to go when I clearly said it wasfor dine-in. As I stated above, I'm well aware that any new business must work out some initial issues, and I'm more thanwilling to give this Earl of Sandwich time to do so since it's the only one in the general area and normally I find most Earl ofSandwich stores to be the best fast food around. And so I'll return here in another month or more and give this place anothershot and hopefully, I'll be raising this review from an average 3-star to well above. I absolutely love this place! Probably one of the best hot sandwich I've ever had. Their sandwich's are really ,really good and... high quality tasting. The meat is really tender and flavorful and the bread is fresh and fluffy ( not like other fast foodchains that serve tasteless processed food) . Their sandwich is definitely worth the money! My favorite is the ?Italian? and mywife loves the ?Chipotle chicken avocado?, everything is tasty on their menu whatever you order, you can not go wrong with yourchoice. They have a good variety of sandwiches and they come on a choice of white or wheat bread. The bread is toasted- whichbrings out the flavor of the sandwich. They also have a homemade cookies ????, yummy ????! Service was excellent, especiallyfrom Ramon- the owners son and the general manager. He works really hard to please his customers. The staff is super friendly ,welcoming and helpful. They treat their customers with care, respect and appreciation. Great customer serviceexperience. Overall we had such a great lunch experience !!! Been waiting to try this place. I came here a few weeks ago, but it wasn't open yet. I have to say, the sandwich was better... than expected. Its definitely not subway type restaurant, quality wise. It's much better. They have a good variety ofsandwiches and other items but the 1762 Roast beef sandwich caught my eye. It comes on a choice of white or Wheat bread, Ichose the wheat. The bread was lightly toasted, the roast beef was very tender and not some processed meat product, it wasreal roasted beef, slightly rare, with a hint of horseradish sauce, but not overwhelming. Real cheddar cheese, melted. It wasa perfect sandwich. The sandwich is available as a combo, priced comparable to most of the chain restaurants, but isdefinitely a better value for the money.
