I just went to my local Don Tortaco which as at the corner of Serene and Spencer. After many, many visits for the first time... ever I was charged 4% for "non cash adjustment" which is on my receipt as a total of $.46. I believe this is for using a card topay? Is this a new standard charge at all Don Tortaco locations? Or, is it just this location charging it? Also the staff mighthave been having a bad day today. I got to the window and was read an order that was not mine, had to ask twice for a bag ofcarrots, and the wait times were insanely long. Read more
You have to try the tostadas! The bean is 3 bucks and is big enough for any appetite. The beef tacos are shredded beef, yeah!... I'd have given them a 5 star review except the service is slow and lacking. Read more
This restaurant is conveniently located next to my coffee shop, so I grab coffee and a breakfast burrito. I've been in Vegas a... couple years, I found decent Mex restaurants to dine in, but if you ordered food to go, it was expensive. Don Tortaco hashomemade tasting food you can take with you as well as eating it inside. Not all Don Tortaco's are equal!! This site on Sereneand Spencer in Henderson, is priced the same as the others, but my breakfast burrito is larger!! I can taste the bacon prettymuch in every bite, and the cheese unlike others I've tried. They are generous! Staff is busy but friendly!! Of all the more popular Mexican-themed restaurants, I favor Don Tortaco because their prices are great, their portions are... generous and the most important of all when it comes to selling food is taste! Their dishes are tasty and filling so coming backis never a problem for me, especially on ?Taco Tuesdays? where chicken tacos are $1.00! Highly recommended! Read more
Like...can't go wrong. Very similar to Robertos and has a drive thru. Love it.
