First I want to thank Denny's for my Free Veteran's Day Grand Slam Breakfast . I appreciate the many restaurants that do this... for so many veterans once a year and the ones that give a Veteran's Discount all year long . It was busy as I expected since itis located across the street from the Rio Hotel , Gold Coast Hotel , and beside the Palm's Hotel and Casinos . I was seatedright away and service was pretty good for being busy . I got 2 pancakes , 2 pieces of bacon , 2 pieces of turkey bacon , 2scrambled eggs , and coffee . The pancakes really hit the spot . It was your typical Denny's , not great , but not bad either. My first cup of coffee was not very good , but the second cup must have been fresher or someone else made it because it wasbetter . I rarely go to Denny's since there are so many other places to go for breakfast or lunch here in Las Vegas . But totravelers , they know they are consistent and 24 hours all over the country . Reggie was the BEST server ever! We had a large group of 10, and he made sure we ordered in a more effective way to make sure we... got everything we wanted and got a better bang for our buck. Unreal, Friday morning 1am and there?s 2 people working and they were busy. ( 8-10 full tables )The lady and the cook were... running this place like nothing I?ve ever seen. ( especially for Vegas). I own a business and this is the kind of service wetry to provide! Maybe the best service I?ve had from any business in years. I'm not sure what's going on at this location but clearly they need help! The staff is overwhelmed and the management was... nowhere to be found! The food was absolutely horrible! The French toast wasn't runny but it was soggy, and the eggs were brown Iguess from butter that was too it. How do you mess up breakfast when that's all you serve everyday all day?? The kid's menu waslaminated but they didn't have any activity sheets or crayons. Even during the height of the pandemic you could find those sameitems. Great breakfast near our Airbnb. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was packed the whole time we were there; a... Saturday at 10:30am. Our order was taken right away and our food was before us within 6 minutes. There were at least 8 waitstaff and 7 to 8 cooks in the cooking area. We sat at the counter and watching the cooks coordinate/cook the orders was anexperience in itself. This restaurant has an amazing crew; they work great together.
