LOVED the stuffed artichoke and the eggplant appetizer!!! For dinner we had the Sausage with Broccoli Rabe and Pork Tenderloin... and OMGEEEEE they were soooo good! The owners said they're from the east coast and I swear it totally tastes like the food backhome. I will totally be back soon!!! Read more

I was searching for an Italian restaurant and came across this little gem inside Chinatown of all places. Parking is a little... bit tricky so be creative when you get there. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the owner's mom who was born inItaly and came to the US when she was 4. She had a restaurant in NJ for 51 years. If you are able to keep a restaurant open forthat long, they must be doing something right. The dishes were made with great ingredients. Some were a bit salty to our likingbut overall it was a great experience. The prices are very reasonable also. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Read more

We just did a quick search for Italian food and found this place. IT WAS AMAZING! We started with the grilled cheese and... parsley salad appetizer and it was so good I was speechless. The manicotti was the creamiest, tastiest ricotta filling I haveever tasted and the crepe was a perfect match, the carbonara and house-made red sauce was perfect, the chicken and sausage wascooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. I will be back again and again. Read more

Outstanding food. Stuffed artichoke was amazing. There is a little wait for the food, but IT IS WORTH IT. Prices are very... reasonable for the quality of the food. Would heartily recommend! A true find. It is brown but no corkage fee. Read more

Mood - Brunch I was in the area and honestly I have been craving some authentic Sicilian food. I normally check out the menu... before I go to places but this time I went in blindly and very glad that I did. Upon entering they just opened. I was quicklygreeted and asked if this was dine in or take out. I opted for dine in. At which point I was taken to the back room where all ofthe additional tables are. I was told to sit wherever I chose and a menu was given. I opted for the Mozzarella en Carrozza,Scampi Al Riso Al Limone, Cannoli (of course) , and a Fig Cookie. Now believe it or not the food was fabulous no complaints atall. However I could not stop raving about that Fig Cookie. Why was something so small granted with such huge and robust flavor.Oh my gosh it was good. Interior is perfect for this location. There is a space in the front for pick ups, and of course theback room for the sit down dining. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background. The ambiance is very nicelyput together while you can still wear your casual clothes and feel at ease. Would most def recommend - Pricing is a reflectionof quality and presentation. The staff were beyond hospitable and courteous. My table was continually checked on. I will surelybe back in the near future. Read more

This place is finally open! They are brand new so no wait time to eat. I tried a few dishes and got to chat with the chef.... These are his Mom's Mom's Mom's etc recipes that have been passed down the family for a very long time. I'm used to AmericanItalian so it was cool to try some authentic dishes. The first one I tried was the Eggplant da Gemi, which is basically friedeggplant with ricotta, mozzarella and their house tomato sauce. Very tasty and looks very pretty. (9.50) The second dish wasthe Pasta Chi Piseddi, which is these tiny little noodles with a salty starchy broth, onions and peas. Topped with some pepperand cheese. It doesn't look crazy fancy but it was very delicious! Probably be a something I go back to get on rainy day.(14.00) The last was the spaghetti. Which they have two variations of. I tried the Spaghetti Ra Tappinara. It's a bit on thespicy side and weirdly enough has anchovies. IT WAS AMAZING. I never had spaghetti flavored like this and definitely would getagain. (16.00) Last was a bonus but got to try the cannolis. The cream was so good and had little chocolate bits inside. Theshell had an interesting flavor and couldnt quite pinpoint what made it so different from other cannolis I've had.(7.00) Overall while this place is brand new it would be a perfect date spot or good for a family to get some privacy. Therestaurant and bathrooms are really clean. I'll definitely be back, especially for some cookies and cannolis during Christmastime. Read more
