1st time here and first time eating cuban food. Bread was warm. The pork came highly recommended. Came with rice and beans and... salad. The first few bites were fine. The pork was tender and juicy. Towards the end, the pork was dry. All in all, still good.Also ordered yucca and plantains. The plantains were amazing and always been my fave. The Staff was friendly and made theirrecommendations. Cute little hole in the wall and seems like has been in its current location for years, a rarity in LasVegas. Overall, would try again. Read more
I'm not an expert on Cuban food but I thought it was pretty good. I had the Carne con Papas and I loved it. The people that were... there with me had the Ropa Vieja and they said theirs was very good also. Servers were great also. Read more
This place wasn’t packed upon entry and ended up filling almost every table by 2 pm. Great music, great tapas, great... food. Sampler is a must to get, ropas viejo were excellent, and the lamb was great. A must on the limonada and passion fruit,amazingly good. Would highly recommend this place. Read more
This restaurant is a gem of a find along East Tropicana in Las Vegas. The impressive menu is extensive. Solid choices for... alcoholic beverages. I ordered the Camarones al Ajillo which is sauteed jumbo shrimps in super flavorful garlic sauce withmushroom. Served with yellow rice and some veggies, this one is a winner. Rich flavors but not overpowering. I paired it withtraditional mojito which was excellent! Then for dessert, what a delightful treat of Cuban coffee and a flan de leche withsprinkles of chocolates. The flan was not too sweet and paired so well with the Cuban coffee. All these under the cool ambianceof authentic Cuban restaurants with energizing music. I will SURELY return and highly recommend! I'm a huge fan of Cuban sandwiches but I specifically searched out this restaurant in order to try different types of Cuban... dishes. Tried the Cuba Cafe Sampler and the Taster plate which I think probably represents most of the flavors of the restaurantwell. Everything tasted so amazing. It was nice to see they know how to make Plantain chips perfectly crispy and thin. Greatcustomer service and the Cuba Libre they made was great as well. So so good! Had my first Cuban sandwich ever and as a person from the Philadelphia area, I can now say I like the Cuban sandwich... over any other sandwich! The apps were great as well! Got lamb chops along with croquettes and damn it tasted so authentic! Mygirlfriend and I, def recommend eating here if visiting Vegas and wanting to try some banging Cuban food!!! 10/10 Read more
Omg the grilled lamb. I’m pretty sure they bought their lamb in heaven because it tasted heavenly. So juicy, so tender and... so flavorful. Their bean with rice was the best I have ever had, seriously what did you put in there. I rarely finish rice onthe side but this rice omg I was literally stuffing my face with all the bean and rice I could grab. We also ordered thesampler and it was nice to try our everything. The mojito was strong and also delicious. Service was great and fast too. Ijust wish I was able to eat more because I would love to try everything on the menu! My goodness!!! I think I’m going to eat here every night LOL I had the lamb chops and boy when I tell you EVERYTHING ON MY... PLATE WAS AMAZING!!! EVERYTHING ON MY PLATE WAS AMAZING!!!
