We really enjoyed our evening at Carbone. The starters and entrees featuring handmade pasta were delicious. The real star was... their Lemon Cheesecake. Holy cow! I usually skip Cheesecake and lemon but I am so glad we tried it. We had beautifulhandcrafted cocktails (ask for Nick if you're at the bar and he will take very good care of you!) Go to Olive Garden for a better experience. We had heard so many good things about this place that we made sure to go out of our... way to try it. The staff was rude and the food took over an hour and a half. The menu is very vague so we asked for a betterdescription of a few items and the waiter looked very annoyed when we asked. The Cesar salad was amazing and that?s where thegood food stops. I ordered fish and my friends ordered some pasta. For the price it was very mid. The spicy broccoli wasinedible and the side of potatoes wasn?t very good. I could have made better at home. The dessert tasted like it was pre madefrom a grocery store. The ambiance was really cool. Don?t believe the hype. You must try this one out for yourself? but the hype is real. Authentic Italian waiter with an authentic... Italian accent (if it was not real it?s really good acting) multi course meal and eye candy everywhere. Dana white showed upthis night and he is really nice to his fans. On to the food. Table side preparations for many dishes add to the experience.Cost split among friends was also lower than I would have expected for the amount of food that we ate. I came here on 7/7/22 with a big party and it was good. Their bread was delicious and the pasta was delicious as well. Me and my... sister shared the steak and it was mouth watering! First time visiting Carbone, and what a memorable experience it was! The food was incredible, and the service was divine. Our... server Troy was the highlight of our experience. He apologized that it took awhile to get menu's and water to us, however wedidn't feel like it was long at all. He offered us free dessert to make up for the wait, his commitment to ensuring everyvisitor has a smooth and enjoyable experience was felt. Carbone was just excellent, the service was exquisite and the food was amazing. The food: 5 stars The service: 5 stars The... ambiance: 5 stars We had a table of 10 and our server helped us navigate the menu, making spot on suggestions. There was not asingle thing I did not like. High points for me was the pork belly appetizer, porterhouse, Denver sole and the carrot cake. Holymoly they were made with perfection. The one thing for me that would be like 4 1/2 stars was the spicy rigatoni. I am not a fanof cream sauces so while good this was not my favorite. But everyone else at the table sang nothing but it's praises. Cannotrecommend Carbone enough, while pricey it was not only worth it, I would happily go back.
