The staff here tonight very nice and professional. I came here 30 min before they closed I didn?t know they close at 9. So they... are basically out of everything. The tall young man said he would make fresh tortillas for my tacos because they didn?t haveanymore. While the other gentleman held a conversation with me while I wait. Cross contamination - while standing in line I noticed they used the same tong that they used to flip the RAW Asado chicken on... the cutinng board to cut the chicken. I wasn't gonna risk it. Train your staff. Read more

I've been here before...but service different this time. Your staff really do make the restaurant, but this time a little less... than before. My first experience here was great...attentive, quick, knew their stuff. This time, the person in charge had to askthe cashier to get off her phone to check me out...ugh..tho she we really pleasant, I would suggest you never put your boss inthat situation. And I was the only customer at the time. The food prep guy was entertaining, more play than prepping food, butOK- he was having fun. Kinda like a Chipotle. Step up, pick what you want, they make it fresh as you watch. Good flavors, nice spice in the various... types of meats. All Mexican. Good place to go. Service was a tad slow and slightly disorganized. I'm pretty sure one of theservers who couldn't have been any older than 18 was high on something other than pot. He could barely stand up and he had noability to concentrate or answer questions. He's even drooling on himself. Good Lord I hope he wasn't having a stroke? Luckilyhe didn't drool in my food. Walking In we noticed the dining room tables needed tending to and the trash was full. As we approached the order counter I... noticed it was dirty. The glass had dust on it and the counter they made food on was a bit on the messier side. I saw that theyhad Carne Asada so I ordered the tacos and the food was okay but the rice was a bit hard and old. One of the female crew membersI ordered chips and queso with was not friendly, when I requested a large salsa instead of the 4oz cup they serve it in sheslammed the cup on the counter and grabbed the other size. Overall it was an okay experience, for me I will not return to thislocation and instead go to another one next time I am craving cafe Rio. Read more

I am not sure I will eat here again. I found a long piece of metal in my food. When I showed the manager he seemed to know what... it was and did not seem shocked or surprised by it. He did refund the money but I would not eat here again. If he knows what itis what is to say he hasn't seen it before. Such a liability. Read more

One of my favorite quick and healthy meal place. The staff here are pretty great and always amazing at keeping the line moving... fast. So I have never waited to long ???? I had such a great experience ,staff polite and friendly and fast service ,definitelythe best Cafe Rio in town. I love their yummy big salads/tostadas, also one of the things I like about this place too ,is thatall the ingredients are freshly prepared and served in front of you and you can customize your order in any way you want.Everything they have is fresh and delicious. Love that they make fresh flour tortillas. They also have a good rewards app whereyou can earn free meal when you collect enough points. We frequent Cafe Rio regularly. We always have good experiences. If weexperience a problem they are quick to resolve. This is definitely our go-to for Mexican-American food with healthy options. Read more
