What happened to this place? I love Cafe Rio, but this location has gone downhill! I walked in and the entire place smells like... a backed up sewer line. I went to the bathroom and it was absolutely filthy. I ordered my food and the rice was crunchy and notseasoned. I used to love this place. Please fix it! Read more

Like many other reviews have mentioned (and the store continually fails to fix)?Why is this place so incredibly filthy?! Not... only that, but when asked for a tres leches to get taken off my bill due to them being out of whipped cream and strawberries,the MANAGER didn?t know how to perform a refund! (Not only did they not have these, but they didn?t have black beans, steak,chips?) It?s insane. Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank because they?re useless. Not to mention that when Icomplained about the state of the store being disgusting, the cashier to the side says ?well you don?t have to come to thisstore.? Way ahead of ya! Oh and while the manager was bumbling away, they just let the guy behind me take his food for free. ButI was stuck paying for everything, even the desserts I didn?t receive. Gee, thanks. But the manager wrote in pencil on the backof my receipt that I can get a free meal because they didn?t have any ?whoop cream? ??????????? No name, no date?what good isthat?? Cafe Rio is amazing! Fresh ingredients and oh so tasty. The only problem with this location is the bathroom. It smells like... sewer and you can smell it as soon as you enter. And on this day, a customer brought in his dog which clearly is not a servicedog. Personally, I don't like my food mixed with pet dander and pet hair UPDATE: 06/30/22 Bathroom scent was non existent! Horrible they put cheese on the black guacamole to cover it up. Far from fresh... We ordered tacos with no cheese. Cook had no... common sense. Today 3/11/22 we tried a Tostada and it was good. Read more
While living in Las Vegas, we tried to get take out from here three times and just gave up. As you can see from the photo - my... salad had no lettuce, just rice and meat, which is not what I asked for. I just wanted a salad with no chips and cheese. Wedidn't check the bag before we got home - big mistake. Hopefully quality has improved because I really like Cafe Rio. Read more
I love Café Rio food I?ve ordered it for take out tons of times! This time I went to go pick it up I was a little underwhelmed... by the venue. It felt a little gloomy in comparison to how amazing the food it. The restaurant had a good amount of space butnot many tables. The one employee I spoke to was nice and helpful. Parking was good too. Updated: This place is getting worse. Check out the mess at the soda fountain. The speciality drinks were even worse - none were... operational. And the place is now under construction. Their recipes are the only things keeping this place open. DeliciousMexican food if you can stomach the customer service. I recommend the pork salad, tortilla soup, tres leches and horchata.
