Very good brunch options, I came in looking for healthy options and found them. At first the menu looked overwhelming but I was... very impressed and satisfied with what I ordered. The only thing that would make this better would be to have a coffee options.Other than that service was prompt and pleasant. Highly recommend if your in Las Vegas and are looking for healthy brunch. Huge portions of standard American breakfast fare. The potatoes were under seasoned for my tastes but a little salt and pepper... fixed that. I had the chicken fried steak and while it wasn't the biggest chicken fried steak, I have ever been served. It wasprobably the most tender. If you're hungry and want American diner breakfast, black bear diner is definitely a good place togo. Read more

Last time I was in Vegas this place had a line out the door. This time I caught them at the perfect time and sat at the bar. The... menu was large! I kept it simple with my Strawberry, whip cream waffle, potatoes, bacon and orange juice. I enjoyed the hotsauce as well. Service was fast and the place was clean. Read more

Wow. When they say ? in any other restaurant?s typically self-promotional fashion ? that ?you get a lot of food,? Black Bear... Diner separates itself from the herd by delivering on their extraordinary promise. And not only is it a lot of food. It isGREAT food. That?s another promise they make, and another promise they deliver on. I had the hobo omelette with a biscuit andfresh-squeezed orange juice. (Coffee, of course.) The 3-egg omelette was packed with meat and definitely made from three eggsfrom very large chickens. The country potatoes were delicious and perfectly browned. And the biscuit was the size of most of thecushion stool tops you?ll find in many of the casinos here in Vegas. Go. Go. P.S. Parents: for years when our kids wereyoung, my wife used to say, ?why don?t restaurants serve butter that is either softened and ready to spread or offer to have thekitchen butter kids? pancakes so that they?re ready to eat when they get on the table. They could even charge a surcharge andpeople would pay it.? Black Bear Diner has whipped butter, which for you parents will be a lifesaver when your kids? pancakescome and they want to eat them hot.
