The owner and the waitress were very nice and helpful with menu options and even helping describe the ways in which dishes would... be traditionally eaten. I do appreciate a restaurant doing this even if you would never normally ask these questions. The foodwas definitely similar to what I had in China, and the restaurant has a comfortable cozy atmosphere. Affordable and wellportioned. Will return, with my shirt on. Read more
If you care about chicken, this is the place for Chinese style chicken in every variety.
The steak was good and our food came out at a decent time. Update 3/22/22: ordered the shrimp with wonton soup and everything... was good except for the bland soup. Thumbs up on the prices for this restaurant. Read more
The Food Not counting the mishap a long time ago...first restaurant while visiting Las Vegas is Big Wong. It was pretty empty... when we walked in so I was skeptical, but it was actually not bad. My friend ordered Beef Ramen Plus Shrimp Wonton. While Iordered their Shrimp Wonton with Noodle Soup and Hoi Nam Chicken Over Seasoned Rice. The Beef Ramen Plus Shrimp Wonton wasinteresting. The soup base tasted like a pho soup base, the noodles had a nice texture, and the meat and wontons were good. TheShrimp Wonton with Noodle Soup was also not bad, better than some other places I've tried. I got dark meat for the Hoi NamChicken, which came with rice, and was better than expected. Rice had a good flavor, chicken was not dry, and the sauce was agood compliment. The Miscellaneous The restaurant is in a plaza amongst others, it has a private lot but gets packed duringpeak hours. The restaurant is average sized with a good amount of seating. The interior is like a typical Chinese restaurant,but their restroom was very clean. It was pretty empty during dinner hours, but might be because peak hours are at a differenttime? The service was pretty quick and the employees seemed pretty nice. They have a decent selection of dishes on their menu,focusing mainly on rice, noodle, and curry it seems. This was a good first experience of Asian food in Las Vegas. Read more
