We arrived early on a hot July day. Doors were locked but a phone call brought the lovely waitress to the door a we came in. ... It is a large room but every developed a small crowd, a shame for such a good restaurant. My companion had fettuccine Alfredowhich he liked very much. I had chicken livers with onions in a brown sauce. Tender and tasty, I would have preferredmushrooms and would add them next time. My companion had a large portion of an attractive cake while I passed ondessert. Altogether this was an excellent dinner and we will definitely return. Read more
We were very pleased with our Fathers Day meal at the Balkan Bar and Grill, serving Bulgarian and other Southeast European... favorites and also steaks. I love their wine selection and I can't wait to try more. The space was very comfortable and we werelucky to dine at a quiet time so we enjoyed the space with soothing music and the lovely and efficient Marta serving usattentively. This restaurant is very big. You can definitely have parties and banquets. Most of the food is typical Bulgarian, some... Mediterranean and they serve pasta and chicken as well. I ordered the "Kashkaval pane". This dish is fried yellow bulgariancheese and it's usually delicious! They serve that with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. The cheese was not fresh this time. On theother side the tomatoes and cucumbers were very fresh and delicious. I also had Parlenka pita bread (garlic add on). It was soyummy! The waiter was awesome! On top of his game and very fast! Always checking if you are doing ok, or if you need anything.The manager also came around a couple of times. Great customer service! The restroom was the cleanest I have ever seen in anyrestaurants or a public place. Rose pedals soap for your hands, lotion and they even have poo-pourri. Once again super clean, Iwas amazed! There is a small stage and a bar. I think they have a second floor, but I didn't go to check it out. Really nicedecorations everywhere, all around (take a look at the chandeliers on the pictures). Great customer service! I love this placeand I am definitely going back again and again...! It's like a little adventure, escaping in the Mediterranean world andculture. Super awesome place! The Bulgarian food is absolutely top quality! So delicious! I will be back soon. I plan to eventually try... everything on the menu. Will definitely recommend to friends. The restaurant is huge and really beautiful. The decor is verynice. I especially like the wooden doors to the wine room. Perfect atmosphere! Plus the owners and staff are super friendly! Hi had my wedding / reception there in September 23rd 2022 Irene was great she took her time to make sure that my now husband... and I had what we wanted and needed also and more for a great price. Her team was great service and the DJ , Dj Irving wasgreat also the officiant Patricia was great she did the wedding for us at night she is a great help. Irene and her Chef madesure of the allergy that my now husband had and made sure the food was safe for him to eat. This place is so beautiful and Irenemake you feel like family thank you sooo so much for making are special day come true without any added underlining surprises ,also have a large parking lot for guess.
