Reviews for Aromi Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar in Las Vegas, NV
The reviews influenced our visit here. We love trying new places but kinda wished we went to Nora's instead this time. I will... say the wine was really good! Read more
Sometimes it’s easy to take for granted what’s right under your nose—and I’m definitely guilty of that. So it took us a... long minute to visit Italian eatery Aromi, which is only a mile from our doorstep in Summerlin North. Debuting in April 2021,it’s located in the former Nittaya’s Secret Kitchen space and in the same plaza as Ohlala French Bistro. The dinner’sscene-stealer was definitely the visually arresting Squid Ink Spaghetti with Lobster, Scallops + Arrabbiata sauce, an unbeatablecombination of flavors + textures. We also had the beautifully plated Pan-Seared Scottish Salmon with Roasted Vegetable FlavoredForbidden Rice and Citrus Sauce. Executive chef and founder German Castellanos knows how to create wondrous food that pushesback against an unforgiving world. He has impressive stripes, too, as “Chef de Cuisine” at Valentino at The Venetian wherehe was key to their 12-year run. We’ll be back soon to this neighborhood gem (which includes a wine bar), where the ambienceis inviting and the waiters are friendly + sharp. Next time, we’ll definitely leave room for dessert by Castellano’s partner+ Valentino alum, pastry chef Alessandro Stoppa. Read more
Such a great low key Italian Restaurant. Went last night with a friend and sat at the bar to have dinner. Come as you are... casual. Had the special Lamb and Risotto, so tender. The Burrata is so fresh. The lasagna is homemade yumminess. Homemaderavioli, oye. Had the tiramisu and chocolate cake and I'm still thinking about them today. So fresh, moist and light yet fulltexture and flavor. Service was fantastic. Read more
We were invited to a wine dinner at Aromi last night. We didn't know what the multi-course menu would be and we didn't care. The... photos show the Tuna Tartar with greens to start, spinach fettuccine with a Boar ragu and creamy Parmesan sauce, white fish overa cauliflower puree, Duck over Risotto with Marsala sauce, Rib Eye with vegetables was our last plate before a dessert thatincluded Tiramisu, gelato and a chocolate cream puff! Edith and others took great care of us, explaining each dish - I wish Ihad written it all down! We had learned that Chef German Castellanos had recently taken over the restaurant and our hostsplanned the evening to celebrate and support him. I hope you do the same. Read more
Want to give five stars but taking one off because this place needs to jazz up the store front. We almost left because when we... drove up it looked closed- there’s nothing attractive or identifiable out front and it really looked deserted! BUT- I’m soglad we got out and tried opening their door- it was open and it was a great dining experience! Shortly after we arrived theplace filled up- you absolutely need a reservation! The food was very good and the service was amazing. Very unique place. Themenu is diverse and for the type and quality of food, also very reasonable. Next time we are in town we will return!! Had their three course happy lunch for $18 which was delicious. Free bread, olive oil and vinegar were provided. We were a party... of fifteen but they couldn't do separate bills, just by table. Only complaint but no biggie. Service was prompt and attentive.Water was always refilled without the need to ask. Read more
