I've been going to this Applebee's for years. Last night I took my daughter's for dinner. Food was not cooked properly and... appetizer was brought out with entree cold. I then mistakingly ordered a bourbon street chicken And shrimp to go for my wifewho's pregnant. The shrimp was slimy the chicken was beef jerky and the icing on the cake was this photo attached. The potatoeswere still in a plastic bag inside the to go box and the topper of that is the experation date of 5-11 on the bag. Pretty sureit's the law that you are supposed throw out preprepared food in a restaurant after a week. Take into consideration that I wenton 6-5-2022. Today I wanted lighter fare and not a heavy meal. I opted for the double crunch bone-in wings and a side Caesar salad.... Applebee's offers a nice variety of sauces for the (9) wings. I selected the classic buffalo which was flavorful, not spicy buthad an interesting kick and I loved the crunch. My server was friendly and polite. I had asked for a soup/sandwich kind of mealwhich Applebee's doesn't offer. I enjoyed the wings, and the salad. The greens could have been a little crunchier. Great place for casual dining. The $5 special drinks are huge. We had the quesadilla burger and riblets with onion rings. Both... were delicious but the onion rings weren't golden brown, they were a little over cooked, thus only 4 stars. The server was notgood and attentive. Read more
I came to this place a couple of days ago with my grandma to have lunch. We ended up driving across town to Olive Garden because... after sitting and waiting for a while we were not given water, a drink order wasn't taken and a server passed by a few times.They even checked on the table next to us. They weren't packed, so there's no excuse. At the very least water needs to be givenand patrons need to be acknowledged. Bad service like this causes a company to lose business, as was the case here this time. Iwent here years ago and it was completely different. I hope I was just there at a bad time with an inattentive staff. Read more
