Terrible service. Waited for two hours for our food to come out. Tables were dirty and had ash on them. Bar lighting, while... advertised as bright and airy. Hookers out front doing business. Took an hour to receive our sambosas and another for theentrees to arrive. Waitress said they were "busy", yet there were all of 8 people inside. They didn't return change and anotherwaitress had to translate for the other. They also muffed the order and placed my friend's order on mine. He ended up justpaying me in cash. Read more

I had the veggie combination and it was good. The shiro and injera were delicious. Large portions and very fair prices. The... server was super nice, especially after mentioning I had been to Ethiopia. The restaurant is as easy to find as any locationseems to be in Las Vegas, Google maps is your friend. Read more

Abyssinia serves good food but unbelievably poor service! My family enjoyed the food so we even managed a way to get around and... work on their weakness by calling and ordering our food ahead of time minimizing the wait time. That?s until they placed thewaitress that managed to break years of loyalty to the restaurant and owner, who we grew to appreciate to have in Vegas! We lovethe food but DO NOT tolerate disrespect and lies in a place that should cater to guests? need. Three different occasions, wecalled half hour prior, drove 40min to get to Abyssinia only to be acknowledged 20 minutes after we sat on the table andcarelessly advised ?oh sorry, we don?t have the food you ordered!? Two phone calls were placed prior to arrival confirming theyhave what we wanted but upon arrival told that the kitchen didn?t advise her they are not serving it on the day!! Simplyunacceptable!!
