I got the shrimp bowl. It came with breaded frozen shrimp. Gross. The beans and rice had zero flavor. Got 2 chicken tacos.... Bland. Thank goodness I asked for hot salsa because that's what gave any of the food flavor. The salsa for the chips, prettysure it's jar. This place is legit. No BS. Older ladies in an open kitchen taking their time to make outstanding Mexican food. The handmade... corn tortillas are key! Don?t snooze on that. Had the barbacoa and an asada and was impressed. Get some chips and salsa causeit?s not quick. They take their time and it was like a 20 minute wait for the food. We have had Abuelas Tacos cater a few of our parties throughout the years, most recently my birthday. The food always arrives... ontime and is fresh and most importantly DELICIOUS! The tacos are the best and the ceviche is always a crowd favorite. Read more
