First time diners passing through and we were not disappointed. Interesting dining concept of no platters and only ordering by... the half pound. The server at the counter was more than happy to explain the process to us and ensured we had the bestexperience possible. Really appreciated being able to sample the meats before ordering. Five star everything. Except for BBQ sauce. It was average. I like a tad bit of sweetness. Meats were all amazing!!

My mom and I went here for the first time last night. We were craving some BBQ and have passed by this restaurant several times... but never went in. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and a lovely smoky aroma. When we got to the ordercounter, Nathan took great care of us by explaining the menu and how things worked. Location: Fine, Parking:Good, Service:Different, Price for food received: As expected. Overall: It has been a frw years since I... have enjoyed this Rudy's Location. I always try to get one last meal before I head out of state and look forward to my nextmeal when Arriving back into town. But this time was a bit different. I ordered the prime rib remembering how they sliced themeat to make some of the best sandwiches. This time I got a whole steak and had to ask for it to be cut. Kinda weird but okay.The meat was not as tender as past meals which was also kinda off. I do hope this was a one time oops and will be fixed as theprime rib is the expensive cut to get bad. Rudy's is one of the BEST BBQ places to grab some good food. It's never too early for BBQ...they open at 7 a.m.. Stopped in at... the Las Cruces, NM location while on a business trip. Staff and food were AWESOME!! They offer a Military/Veteran discount. Thank you Rudy's!! Read more

One of our favorite places to visit. Rudy's offers a variety of BBQ with a good selection of sides. We went during the day on... Tuesday. It wasn't busy. Service was prompt. Nice BBQ ambiance. You pick your meal by weight. We ordered 1/2-lb of brisket, 1/4-lb of turkey, half a chicken, and 1/2-... pound of pork ribs. Everything tasted really good. The turkey and chicken were not dry and were juicy. This was our first timehere and the staff were helpful in explaining how to order and recommending which meats to choose.
