After staying the night in Fairfax, we were looking for a tasty brunch spot when my partner suggested this place. We love a... great farm-to-table restaurant and this place seemed to have a great brunch and lunch menu. The parking here is ample, you canfind street parking or there's a public lot just across the street. You can sit inside or there is a small covered patio outback, with about seats for 20-25 people. We sat in the patio area on a warm August morning, which made us grateful that it waspartially covered and offered some shade and reprieve from the heat. Great food great service. Alot of tasty options, the staff was super friendly. A great place to enjoy breakfast. If you havnt... tried farmhouse i would highly recommend it. They have great cooks that cook the food to perfection. One of the best breakfastspots i have gone to in years. Food was prepared and presented well, but portions were a bit small. My only real gripe is the back patio roof. It?s sealed off... with big plastic sheets causing it to be swelteringly hot and quite humid on a hot day. Very nice little place. The food was good, not great, but the service was amazing and especially liked the cosy backyard.

I was intrigued by the potato and celery root cake topped with creme friache and apple sauce but did not like that the gravlox... was placed on top of the hot cake. The fish had a unpleasant texture when warmed. I really enjoyed the mixture of flavorstogether and the freshness of the picked veg on top of the cake. My bloody mary was nice and strong. Read more
This place is awesome because of the great quality of food, it is hard to find. I love that I can go to a breakfast place with... my kids and get real maple syrup and not fake GMO. Great quality coffee. Friendly service. The food came fast. I would justadd for improvements; re fills on water and coffee are needed without having to ask after we finished our meal. Maybe it wasjust this one time and is not a norm. Also a spoon is needed with coffee. I still give them 5 stars because of their quality andfriendliness. Read more
