We had the Fish & Chips and the Hoosier Tenderloin. Since we are former Hoosiers and I'm Irish...this had to be a win...right???... Well...IT TOTALLY WAS!!! So the fish and chips are amazing. You get 2 HUGE pieces and fries that are great and I'm not a fryperson. To be honest, the coleslaw is typical Florida coleslaw. It's kinda taste-less. I tell them everywhere I go, add a touchof sweetness, some salt and pepper and you will nail it. My husband had the tenderloin. So, as far as Hoosier, it's not apounded thin, big as your head, tenderloin. But, he said it was a FABULOUS, used fresh ingredients, breaded to perfection,seasoned nicely pork tenderloin. The service was great! The atmosphere was like a great place to hang out. The only weird vibefor me was big guys cheering for golf but hey...everybody has their interests. Mine just happens to be food! AND I WILLDEFINITELY BE BACK HERE! BTW, Mondays are 2-4-1 Fish and Chips and they have live music certain nights. Check them out and addme as your guide. Read more
Husband and I are at open mic night, and we're having a good time. Has a great stage and sound system.
First off, this is a NON SMOKING BAR, which I absolutely love. These Filet Tips are blackened med rare & delicious. The place is... completely packed, the band Den of Thieves are playing & they are super talented. Probably a good reason this place is packedtonight. Beers are ice cold. I like this place a lot! Went for dinner for the first time. We didn't know it was trivia night and it was packed! We found a table near the bar and... while it was little loud, it was a fun environment. It was fun to watch the trivia and people enjoying themselves!! Our foodwas good, the shephards pie had a taste that almost reminded me tacos. The cheese on top did not taste like cheddar but ratherVelveeta. My husband and friend loved their corned beef and cabbage plate! The beers were good and the waitress was supernice and sweet! First time here. Atmosphere was awesome. It was the first Sunday of football season. They had a lot of games on. Fans from many... teams getting along and having a good time. Had the basket of onion rings, pastrami sandwich and roast beef dinner. In addition,we had 2 Guinness' and a Smithwick. Tasha recommended the roast beef dinner and Smithwick. Excellent! I will definitely go back.Looking at other meals coming out, I can see the kitchen is awesome. Other staff members stepped in. That truly shows teamwork!It has become one of our go to places. Looking forward to trying other plates. I can't say enough about how Tasha was helpfuland courteous. Kudos to all! Read more
