It was a very nice restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere, almost 1930's feel to it when you walk in. We had the empanadas as... appetizers. Delicious! I went with the skirt steak. It had a nice flavor and was cooked right at medium. It did have a hardpiece of gristle, which took a bit from it. My wife had the salmon. She liked it, but it was a bit dry. MY BIRTHDAY DINNER SO DISAPPOINTING!!! Horrible customer service with manager Guillermo … my “New York strip” which I had... asked for a filet mignon medium well term… they brought a steak that was medium and not to my liking only ate one of the edgeswhich at this point I ask for the manager (Guillermo) and he tells me he can take it back to recook that piece or BRING ME A HOTPLATE SO I CAN DO IT AT MY TABLE!!! My jaw dropped with this man’s “solutions” I do not know how Mr. Luis Rodriguez canhave this rude man as a MANAGER he doesn’t even have the manners to be a server! … he took my husbands plate off my tab(since his plate was a ribeye and obviously like $10 cheaper) after I almost raised my voice because I felt so offended. Neveragain will I step foot in that restaurant. I’ll stick to Border foundry or longhorn steakhouse better food and better CUSTOMERSERVICE!!! Also not a toddler or kid friendly environment there was ONLY ABOUT 2-3 high chairs available and my husbandcouldn’t even eat comfortably. What an amazing dinner!!! Ribeye steak was awesome. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Creme Brule was delicious.
Service here is incredible! Very kind and polite wait staff. Atmoshpere was very pleasant and comfortable. The steak I had was... cooked to perfection! Very tender and moist with great flavour. One of the better Old Fashions I've had in a good while. Gotsomeone you wanna spoil? Bring them here and enjoy! Read more

Best dinning decision I've made in a long time! The ambiance is grand but also comfortable. Seated by the large window viewing... the kitchen resembled being at a chefs table, and afforded incredible insight into the Argentinian technique of charbroilingover red hot coals. If you are looking for waiters scurrying about with giant skewers and skewers of meat to carve onto yourplate... this place isn't for you! If you want a quiet old school exquisite dinning experience with superb service and food...you are in the right place. Even the house Malbec and Cabernet by the glass are great and very reasonable, The food however,is exceptional... and plentiful with the 10 oz filet perhaps the smallest meat cut on the menu. Perfectly seared over charcoalas I watched. This is IMO by far the most underrated restaurant in Laredo... perhaps the location behind a popular restaurantdoesn't help... but this is certainly one of the best dinning experiences I've had... bar none!
