Reviews for Cinco Villa in Laredo, TX
A mixed experience for my first time. Ordered the pollo villa, which was grilled chicken over avocado. Also had a pirata. All of... the food was delicious. I felt the size of the chicken plate was relatively small for the price. What was strange is that I wassevered this plate with no utensils. Not sure if this was on purpose or the waitress simply forgot to give them to me. And sinceshe never checked on me during my meal I couldn?t ask. I scooped up the chicken and avocado with tortillas and a few of thechips. Also, I don?t like that I am given (and of course had to pay for) bottled water. The pirata was also tasty and the salsaprovided were nice and spicy. Overall I enjoyed the meal and will come back to try other things from the menu. Read more
Not busy, and still no one could come to our table and take a drink order??????? Finally a waitress came to our table with an... attitude. Better to leave than deal with people that don't want business. Sad, because it use to be good. Oh well... move on toanother restaurant that could use some business. Read more
Food is good. But service is DRY. Never a greeting. Never a thank you, when picking up our orders.

The ladies at this restaurant are awesome!!! They don't speak English (like in many restaurants in Laredo) and we don't speak... Spanish, but we can feel their hospitality and customer service! They did their best to explain the menu. Food is all freshlyprepared, including the lemonade. You can taste the lemons!! Get your favorite kind of taco, or try everything. They all tastegreat! Absolutely awesome spot for authentic tacos. They serve legitimate tacos al pastor, shaved straight off the trompo. Definitely... some of the best I've ever had, and it's difficult to find authentic tacos de trompo outside of Mexico. Their charro beans andsalsa are also fantastic, especially their green salsa. There's no soda fountain for free refills, and instead they serveMexican bottled cokes and agua fresca, a nice touch. The tacos are a little pricy for Laredo but significantly cheaper thancentral cities like Austin, and way tastier. They've been around for a while and have recently expanded the size of therestaurant. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great tacos and a nice atmosphere! Read more
