Grilled chicken sandwich with roasted pepper is neither grilled nor roasted. They are basically fried. I am not going to be... modest, but I can easily call myself as "bread gourmet". The sandwich was in an old baguette. It was a big disappointment. Wewere very lucky(!) to have a chicken soup with hair attached to celery with the first spoon was the worst experience. Longest wait, terrible avocado toast. Stanz used to be our favorite go-to place for breakfast or lunch. Sad to say my daughter... and I had a memorably bad experience today. No line when we arrived at 1:00 for lunch, yet we waited an hour for our foodwithout being forewarned the kitchen was so delayed. When it did arrive the avocado toast was terrible and bland, just avocadoslapped on bread with arugula piled on. Only go here if you have lots of time to wait and don?t order the avocado toast, thesalads are still good. Read more
Avoid?I?m not one to leave a bad review unless warranted. PLEASE READ Ordered pancakes with scrambled eggs and home fries, for... starters they forgot the eggs and home fries after asking them had the audacity to ask me to get up to pay for them which Idid. Complained about pancakes son tells his father the owner and he had the audacity to tell me there $8.75 pancakes;sarcastically?really Stan!!!! Noted this $8.75 pancakes taste like $&:;! equals 1 star for service, food and customeraccommodation, waited to see if he was going to do the right thing but failed!!!! W?et there for breakfast. The food was tasty and our waitress was very friendly. The price are normal for a good amount of food.
I was really disappointed in this place. We took take out and the presentation was horrible. It was very sad looking... combination. My boyfriend had soft fried eggs avacado and goat cheese on an english muffin. They literally just slapped togetherthe entire thing and placed it in the container. I had soft fried eggs corned beef withe gruyere cheese on bread with homefries. Again the presentation was very sad everthing waa thrown into the container the home fries were not edible they wereburned and it looked like they ran out of regular potatoes so they added random sweet potatoes (I did not even tale one bite ofthe potatoes the portion was just that sad). Additionally, there was an eggshell in my food. We tried to give them the benefitof the doubt because they were closing at 3 and we ordered at 2 but its still inexcusable . We debated on giving them anothertry as a sit down but once I chewed the egg shell it was an Instant no. For the other restaurants on the same strip that put putincredible food Stanz needs to really step it up. Read more
The food was everything we wanted on a hot July day. It was delicious and the plating was perfect. Would def use Stanz again for... our next party. Steven designed our menu to the T and was so accommodating to any changes. Thank you Stanz Cafe and Steven, itmade my moms 90th birthday all that more special! Read more
Went out on a date here and honestly, this place was great. Lots of people, great atmosphere and the coffee we went for was good... as well. Staff was very friendly as well. Definitely recommend this place. Read more
