Great atmosphere. I’m here due to work, and love the atmosphere. The bar staff do the best they can. Cedar plank Salmon - well... done. :-( Steak with loaded baked potato. I did not touch my steak for five minutes while waiting for the loaded baked potato tojoin it. Baseball. Medium- rare = medium. I’ll try again, as it is a great place. Read more

My family and I were visiting Laramie for one night and decided to eat dinner at this restaurant. The curb appeal is excellent... with trendy architecture and ample parking. The interior is appealing as well, but didn’t quite match the level of theexterior. Overall, the vibe is lively and the place was quite busy at 6:30 pm on a Thursday evening. The service was prompt andprofessional. The staff was quite attentive. I chose the cedar plank salmon, which was excellent. My father ordered the onepound serving of baby back ribs, and he mentioned that they were slightly over cooked and too crispy for his taste. My momordered the garlic shrimp and loved it. My sister had a salad that she really enjoyed. My humble opinion is that the entreepricing was a touch high. If each item were priced about $3 lower it would be perfect. For example, if the western burger was$15 and not $18 that would seem reasonable to me. The other suggestion would be to turn down the music volume so that a familycan have a nice conversation over dinner. The music selection was excellent, but overly loud for a family steak house. In theend, I would recommend this place for a delicious meal in Laramie! Read more

Delicious Food!!!. We took our family of 5 to a treat and first time eating at Rib and Chop House. It was a great atmosphere and... entertaining for everybody ! Our 3 kids enjoyed watching sports on all the tvs, our server was training someone and they broughtour kids a plate of apples and yogurt dip while we were waiting on food. They told us about the specials and offered help inpicking out some adult beverages. Me and my Husband got the " Painkiller " drink very tast and just enough alcohol to get a Lilbuzz. My Husband got the full slab of ribs which was very tender and juicy, I got the shrimp and scallops pasta Everything was cooked perfect . Our 3 kids got 2 popcorn shrimp and a Burger kids meal. There Kids meal came served in a cool car that theygot to keep. There popcorn shrimp were delicious. My daughter said her burger was a little burnt and kinda hard for her to eat.Defiantly $$$$ but well worth the cost. For a family of 5 ( and 3 adult beverages) it came to $130.00. It was a nice treat. Read more

If you want a good place to eat this is it, it’s not a bad place. If you want the rolls you have to specifically ask for them... but they are great. We ordered the chicken fingers and they were a little dry. We also ordered the 9 ounce sirloin and it wasvery good although a little over cooked because we said medium well. Overall a pretty good place to go. Read more

We ordered 2 burgers, pretty simple stuff for a place like this. both were supposed to be Medium well and we're clearly all pink... in middle. For 35.00 we expected better. Also the side portions were patheticly small which added to this poor review. Read more

Try the cote de Boeut for two, a 36 oz french cut ribeye, we had it with a loaded baked potato and garlic mushrooms. I had the... chop house Caesar it comes with 6 oz sirloin. Everything was prepared exquisitely. The service was phenomenal. Read more

Was pretty pricey for a mediocre steak. We ordered New York strip and a filet mignon meals, medium rare, and they weren't any... tenderer than a regular ole sirloin. As far as flavor goes I can make a better tasting steak at home. The steaks were more of amedium rather than a medium rare and the baked potatoes were huge but not much more than heated through. The ceasar salad wasreally good and the kids seasoned frys were delicious and the kids Alfredo was pretty decent. For a average of $45 per steakdinner I expected a lot more. We did talk to the manager about our disappointment so they were aware of the situation and coulduse our constructive criticism to improve their other clienteles experience. Although they did give us a healthy discount, Iwould have rather had a delicious steak after 24 hours of traveling eating road junk food. I hope they will improve on theirfood quality so the next weary travelers have a better experience than we did. I rarely give negitive reviews as I know how hardit is to please everyone, but most of the issues we experienced were quality control. Read more
