I walked in here for a cold beer on a hot July day. I was surprised by all the taxidermy on the wall. The bartender was super... nice and told me all the history about the place. The Buck is a fun place. Different kinds of music is played, but my personal favorite is hip hop. It's just that some of the... customers that visit are inhibited, mean, anxious, socially inept, not really open-minded, liberal, and most importantly makefast wrong judgments about other people. Don't expect most the college crowd that comes in to be cool and hip. Most of them arephobes especially on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Even while drunk most of them are still not loose. I don't need todrink that much to be outgoing it's part of my personality. I came there to party/dance, socialize, meet potential hookups, andto go home to enjoy safe sex at the end of the night when the bar closes. It's ironic because if I was just judging theirappearances they dress trendy, hip and fashionably, the hip hop floor was fun but their attitude didn't reflect what hip hop isabout. Hip hop contrary to popular belief is about being hip while being your self. Anyways this just applies to some people noteveryone there was lame. I met some hip people but unfortunately there was not enough of those types at the bar party thosenights. There were more of the other kinds of people that make parties boring and irritating then soon after make me leave. GREAT DIVE BAR captured the Wild West spirit of Laramie perfectly ! Pool table and a few great beers on tap,including Odells and... Lupulin. Bar maid and local patrons made us feel very much at home. Went for one beer and a game of pool ..stayed for almost 3hours! Only complaint no shirt in my size XXL.. loved this place!- and got a picture in front of the IMFAMOUS BULLET HOLE Read more
