We could see Lake Pontchartrain from where we were sitting! Great service and Very nice server when we went! I was not impressed with food or service. I believe the crab stuffed fish was frozen then put in a broiler, the topping on the... fish was like a white nasty tartar sause with over broiled shrimp. The twice baked potato in a bowl was decent along with thegreen beans, but I was very hungry too! Heck but letting your customers tea glass go empty twice without noticing! Zero tipend of story! We shared the Asian Shrimp appetizer. I had the BBQ shrimp, which was the best I've ever had. 17 huge shrimp! My husband had the... pork ribeye and loved it. We were encouraged to order the Apple Praline Cobbler by a regular sitting close to us, and we did notregret it. The location is great, with wonderful views over the lake. You can eat in the main inside dining room, or on the balcony. The... servers were all very chilled and friendly. We only called by for an appetizer, but the Asian Almond Shrimp we shared was reallyexcellent. The menu is simple American fayre, with a south Louisiana seafood twist. First time at this location. The food was not bad but I did not really care for anything that we received. The food tasted... somewhat bland. Do not get tea or lemonade they both taste horrible. I would return to this location but it would not be myfirst choice. Our waitress did a great job. Read more
