This place is not great. I'm from the south and this is a poor example of southern bbq. My review is based off multiple visits.... The sides are sad, over or under cooked, Mac n cheese is greasy not cheesy, green beans stringy, fried items seemed to be cookedearly and left to sit. The Brisket is overly fatty and decent, the chicken is crazy dry. The sauces are way too pepper-y , in abad way. Have not had the pork it might be good I don't know. Delicious!!! I am a little bit picky when it comes to barbecue. I am usually not a big fan of drowning the meat with so much... sauce you can't taste the food. So I had the brisket and asked for easy on the sauce and it was perfect. My husband had the ribsand son had the burger (forgot the name) but they both loved their dinner. The sauce was perfect. The sides we had were the mashpotatoes, green beans with bacon and Mac and cheese. All great sides but I do have to say the green beans were slightly saltybut we still ate them. First time having take out from here, a little on the expensive side for take out $78 for 3 people but aslong as it tasted good we were okay with it. Super friendly reasonably priced and reasonably fast. Generally the bbq is good, depends on when you go, I have had dry ribs,... fatty ribs, and perfect ribs, seems to be a gamble.
