Really good food here at Lucky's. The burgers are excellent and the loaf of bread they bring to start the dinner is truly... delicious for you fresh bread lovers. I really enjoyed my first time here. My partner took me here for a lovely lunch. I love the bread and butter they serve and the... choices of sides with the meal. I ended up getting the fish n chips! I think most locals will agree that Blind Fish was one of the "Premier Restaurants" in Lapeer. Such a shame that it has declined... so terribly. Our waiter was completely distracted! Forgot the sweetener for the awful iced tea. Then forgot our bread. When hebrought it to the table, it was unceremoniously dumped...no plates offered. I think he forgot 1/2 of my husband's salad as youcould see more plate than salad. I ordered stuffed salmon with rice pilaf. Was informed rice was no longer an option. Afterchoosing a different side, orders were placed. The bartender was going on about how slow they had been all day. Odd that underthose circumstances it took 15 minutes to get a beer. When dinner arrived, I was given stuffed grouper. I had ordered salmon.I asked to speak with a manager. That also took several minutes. The only thing she did was to keep saying sorry. If I believedthat I wouldn't be writing this. They informed me that the meal would be removed from my bill (as it was not what I ordered).They behaved as though I had bothered THEM! With the ever rising prices of groceries, entertainment, including meals out, it'sdifficult to ignore this nonsense. As consumers, we should not settle for mediocrity. I am personally tired of slip-shod servicewith a sorry attached. Do your job right and you won't need to apologize. The picture I attached were the FILTHY blinds at ourtable. I suggested that since it was so slow they may want to spend that down time cleaning. Judging by the looks of themanager, I don't think that will happen anytime soon. Truly a shame. Excellent experience. Great atmosphere, ambience, food selection and service! We ordered two salmon dishes and both came out... above our expectations. For the amount of food you get make sure to come hungry!!! The best price at any restaurant thatspecializes in seafood/steaks that I have gone to in Michigan. Entre includes two sides plus they're amazing bread!!! You willdefinitely take home a to go box. Overall amazing restaurant. Can't wait to come back and refer others. Read more
Four of us went out for lunch and it was an amazing experience. Our server was Emma and she was the outstanding - was very... friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant and answered all our questions. She was prompt at bringing our drinks andtaking our orders. There was no rush and the food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. Our friends ordered angel hairand salmon and angel hair and chicken. The only concern was that the angel hair and chicken came with mushrooms, that myfriend doesn't like and was not listed in the ingredients on the menu. My wife had the Maryland chicken and I had the smallprime rib, that came with the largest sweet potato I have ever been served in a restaurant. Great time and we will definitelyreturn! Read more
Prices are fair and food was good. Wife got the Shrimp trio. I got the Prime Rib and Lobster tail combo. We both got a Cesar... salad and Potatoes Au Gratin as a side. The bread is Excellent. Some of the best around. I ordered the Prime Rib medium rare...it was more medium. The lobster tail was over cooked but edible. Wife loved her meal all around. We would come back again. After years of coming here I?m shocked to be treated badly. After asking for manager and not getting one I chose to ask for a... bill. Then got a rude manager. All employees looking at us as if we?re the problem. Get some trained employees. Meghan is veryunprofessional and I?ll never return to Lucky?s. My wife and I had dinner here. The food and service was fantastic. Great food, atmosphere and very clean place. You can't go... wrong eating here, they treat you top notch here. Try it out, you will not regret it. Five star service and food. We will beback for sure. Read more
