A DIAMOND IN THE HEART of the lower mainland !!! When I ordered take out I was fully prepared that take out inevitably... compramises esthetics or quality. BUT NOT HERE! Beautiful presentation. Superb taste. And once it was inside me, I realized thequantity and quality are more than ample and satisfying for the price I paid. My stomache is full, my heart is happy. And mysoul is satisfied. To keep it simple, I?ll just say that I loved this place! The Relaxed and Refreshing ambience just makes the entire experience... so smooth. Food was amazing and so good that I even ate my friend?s share. The staff was very friendly as well. A small dine incafe just near to the highway makes it easily accessible. Went out for brunch with my dad, my aunt and my sweetie at Down 2 Earth, a 100% Vegan restaurant. We had never been and my dad... and aunt are not vegan but both cleaned their plates happily! We recently had our wedding reception at D2E and it was absolutely incredible. Alysa and her team's creativity, kindness and... attentiveness is unmatched. OH don't get me started about the food.. The BBQ flatbread was to die for, sliders, poutine (ourfamilies are from Quebec and were very impressed by this vegan poutine), and the mac n cheese I can't stop dreaming about. Ourfamilies who don't usually eat plant based were amazed and are still talking about how good it was. Alysa also made sure ourguests who had allergies were extremely taken care of. After a long incredible day to remember, Alysa sent us home with lots ofleftovers, as well as some wellness shots for the following morning and some insanely delicious french toast. The place is gorgeous. Unfortunately some issues with ventilation so the whole place smelled very greasy. One hour later our... jackets and hair and everything smelled like grease. If ventilation improves i will rate this place a bit higher. For now Iwon't return for health reasons. Read more

After looking up their menu online, I've been wanting to eat here for a while. The decor inside is fantastic as well as the... different areas to sit. The service was fantastic- very friendly and helpful in narrowing down our food choices. They broughtout complimentary immunity booster shots which were delicious and a great addition to our brunch. There was a great selection ofhot drinks as well. The pancakes were especially delicious and the Benny was a fantastic vegan Benny. Creative plant based food thoughtfully prepared. We thought this was a new restaurant and were surprised to find out it has been... open for 4 years! Went for brunch. I have always been a bit skeptical about a tofu based "egg" dish but was pleasantly surprisedby the complexity of the offering. Super tasty and beautifully presented. It doesn't pretend to be eggs, although it is based onthe concept of a benny. It stands all on its own merit with lots of great flavors present. Several other brunch options too.
