We've been going to Beatniks for years for various occasions such as anniversaries. We usually recommend them to friends who are... visiting in the area. The food is delicious and they have friendly service. The atmosphere and music is chill and great forsmall groups of 4-6. Read more
Had a wonderful meal here today. It was busy, so we were placed on a waitlist with an estimated seating in approximately 15... minutes. We were called back in 10 minutes, so very reasonable given how busy it was. Our table was al fresco in a nicelyshaded area. I noted that table placement was at a sufficient distance to ensure background noise was not intrusive. Theentire restaurant is clean and tidy, without any signs of deferred repairs or updating. You can sit here comfortably and focuson the food. The wait staff here are professional and appropriately personal. No young females in little black dresses andheels here, so that was a positive signal for us. Our waitress was prompt and seemed to be actually happy in her role. Weordered a glass of local white wine and the wild mushrooms flat bread appetizer. That was a great pairing. The wild mushroomsflat bread was a savory delight, with layers of flavor emerging with every bite. We ordered the halibut; but asked that it becooked through as is our preference. This request usually results in somewhat burned fish in other restaurants. Not herethough, it was perfectly browned and flavorful. It was honestly one of the best fish dishes we have ever had in a restaurant. It was that good. We also had an artisan salad with grilled chicken breast. I was expecting a standard fare from this usualmenu role. It exceeded my expectations with a light application of dressing and wonderful mix of ingredients that combined innew ways at every bite. Truthfully, the chicken breast was superfluous on this salad (but it was tasty as well). All wasdelicious, well plated, and pleasing to the eye. This will be a repeat for us. Great vibe and food, everything we ordered was tasty, and flavors were on point! Highly recommend this coconut shrimp as a... starter, the shrimp itself and the dipping sauce was perfectly match! The seafood linguine, chicken sandwich, and ribs was alsogreat! There are usually a lot of people on weekends at Fort Langley, so it would be a good idea to reserve ahead! We love therestaurant, but we didn?t have the best experience because of the waitress, she was not friendly at all, she was contempt andhas the worst attitude ever, didn?t even give smile until she brought out the credit card machine, we don?t know her name, but Ihope no one gets her as a server???????? We savored some delectable Meals at this Bistro. 'Flatbread with Wild Mushrooms & Onions' served with Flavourful sauce &... Arugula... was excellent in taste. We had also ordered Coconut Prawns with Honey Mustard , Soup of the Day was Chicken withLentils, Seafood Linguine & Winter Chicken served on a bed of Rice shaped pasta was excellent in taste.
