It's a pretty good DQ. Clean, fast, good food when getting ice cream or burgers. When you get a salad, it's lacking and doesn't... match the menu entries. Outside of that one thing, i would recommend this DQ. Read more
Local to Langdon and have gone to this location often. Overall, it?s hit and miss. Biggest complaint is portion sizes,... especially with fries/onion rings, and ice cream. Portion sizes are worse when it?s busy, or events such as today (MiracleTreat Day). We also find when it?s busy, the toppings in ice cream lack and it?s not mixed properly. Not sure if it?s aspecific person or what. The last few times we have done blizzards, they have been mixed well, tones of toppings and mixed. Until Miracle Treat Day. However, have always found portion sizes for sides are sooo small. So expensive for what youget. We try to support places local to ensure they stay open but when you spend DQ prices and get poor quality, it makes youwant to save your $$ instead! Maybe one day management will see all these poor reviews and ensure quality product. BeforeLangdon looses DQ! Our only pro is the teens are lovely! So friendly all the time (and the odd time our blizzards are full withlots of toppings and mixed). Read more
After a long hot weekend and celebrating a birthday, I decided to take the dogs for a cool evening walk in our favourite country... spot. We are currently in Calgary, so that was a deliberate drive for us and I chose DQ as I love their coffee and freshburgers, additionally, when I was younger I both worked for and managed DQ's so I know the emphasis they place on customerservice. This one has none. I ordered a coffee with my meal and was told they don't do that. I was confused and said, you don'tserve coffee with a meal? I used to manage a DQ and I've never heard of that. From that moment the young lady took a tone and Icould hear her sighing. I won't get into the details because it doesn't matter. The point is that you don't get to treatcustomers like an inconvenience because you are a small location with a small mindset. It should be the opposite. There is abeautiful little coffee shop that excels at customer service. And Tim's is also established. Families come here with their kidsfor ice cream and expect to be treated good. I get it if the coffee is turned off for the night and unavailable, but then youpolitely state that. When I got to the window she was rude, shot very rude looks that stated there was no tolerance for statingcoffee should be an option. What I assume was her manager came to the window and she did apologize and explained the young ladydidn't know coffee was an add on option. However - that to me does not suffice. I spent $13 on a burger meal which is pricey onit's own. The young lady clearly wanted to remain difficult and posture to win the argument. I would fire her if that was mebecause she made no attempt to unwind. Young people need to be guided and learn that being asked and corrected on somethingsomeone has ordered for years is not a personal attack on them. They need to learn to not work based on their personal feelings. This is the hospitality industry and if you don't like the job...get another one. I did get the coffee as per Read more
Chicken Finger Basket was a waste of money got about 3.5 chicken fingers in my 6pc basket and each of the strips I did get were... no bigger than my pinky finger... there was more bread than chicken. Never going back. Read more

Stopped for a double burger meal today on my way back from Calgary. I like the taste of beef, so only get onions on my burgers.... They held all condiments on my burger and charged me .29 cents for onions?? Have never had that happen. I always get extraonions at McDonalds, and it?s never an up charge. Had about 3 or 4 crispy onion rings in my order, the rest were soggy. Theyoung lady at the window was very friendly, and agreed with me on the onion up-charge. The meal was disappointing, I think inthe future I?ll wait until I get to Strathmore for my fast food. Read more
