I arrived at 11am to find the owner alone in the kitchen starting up the equipment. He politely told me it would be thirty... minutes before he had any pizza ready. (The place opens at 11am) I waited because I love pizza and wanted to give it a try. Iordered a simple pepperoni pizza and it was ready 35 minutes after I walked in the door. The pizza was good but, not worth thedrive/wait. As I waited for and ate my pizza, I listened to him take orders over the phone telling customers that their orderwould not be ready for 45 minutes to an hour. I also watched as customers walked in on their lunch breaks from nearby businessesonly to walk out without food because they didn't have time to wait. My suggestion for the owner is to arrive an hour before youopen to prep your kitchen and to have pizza ready for walk-ins at 11am to avoid all the unhappy customers. This would also allowyou time needed to properly make your pizza for the people who do wait for it. No need to rush through it and serve a mediocrepizza. Read more

Not too shabby! Give this place a try, the pizza was actually good as my hopes were kinda low based on previous reviews. Actual... NY style pizza that was crispy and tasty. It's alright. Actually among the better pizza joints in Land O Lakes, but that's not a very high bar. Better than The Pizza... Pie, not as good as Quality Foods. Similar to Pizza Suprema. Better than the previous in this location (both Uptown andSam's). Service is not there yet. Slice order time is way underestimated (which is common for Slice). They seem to bestruggling with managing multiple ordering systems. Hope for their sake they figure it out. Pizza has potential. It isauthentic New York style and the toppings are fresh. I always try a plain cheese from a new place to gauge ingredients. Ittastes like food service supplier stuff.... nothing special. It'd benefit from a fresher sauce with more acidity and betterquality cheese, but finishing with garlic salt and Italian seasoning was appreciated. Read more

I told... my husband that it seemed like a masterfully done pizza and we drove an hour to get there. We were not disappointed. It was thebest pizza I have eaten outside of Italy.
