Of you like BBQ, this place is amazing. Their signature BBQ sauce is outstanding, and it's a mild sauce so everyone can enjoy... it. I prefer to save hott sauce for wings anyway. I think BBQ should be flavorful and this place has it. The outside seating iscovered and still get a decent view of the strip. Read more
I have been to to the 521 BBQ & Grill several times and it's been pretty good. I had always ordered some type of BBQ but... yesterday I just wanted a burger. The server was very sweet and took my order quickly. It took them quite a while to preparemy burger and fries. When she brought it to me it looked great. First bite was pretty good. The lettuce and tomato tastedfresh and the burger had good flavor. With second bite I realized how incredibly overcooked it was. And no juice whatsoever. Fries were crinkle cut and ok. But whoever cooked the burger obviously overcooked and squeezed the life out of it. This couldhave been a really great burger but next time I'll stick to the BBQ. Read more
Hosted a Dinner Party last night for 21 neighbors including my husband and I, the entire experience was top notch. Only two... phone calls and all the arrangements were completed. How easy is that and they delivered on time. How good was the food? Therewas nothing to clean up the BBQ chicken breast perfect gone! Pulled pork tender juicy gone! Creamy potato salad gone! Mac andcheese flowing together a little left, coleslaw gone! I probably forgot something because it was gone. They included teas,lemonade and water. You can customize what you want and your budget. Yummmmm! My husband and I had the pulled pork and ribs. Both were delicious, but the ribs...oh my goodness! The slaw, potato... salad, and beans were good too! And Laura, our server, was fantastic!! Very good bbq. I've tried the location in Indianland. This location is downtown Lancaster. Food was very good. Service was very... helpful and friendly. Very efficient. I had the combo ring tray with pulled pork. My sides were collard greens and whitecoleslaw. Both sides were very good. Pork was not dry and had enough smoke. Sauces are on the table. Good Q. I like to stop and eat and BBQ joints whenever I travel. Hush Puppies were onion batters which makes for the best hush... puppies. Wife and I got the pulled pork plate. Q was almost dry, not moist. Added the house sauce to it, tasty. Got sides ofgreen beans, fried okra and potato salad...very tasty. Wife said potato salad tasted like the kind she makes. Place was cleanand wait staff were friendly and prices decent. good size portions. I would come back here to eat. Read more
