Came recommended as a nice place downtown. The decor was great, drinks were also, but the food left me wanting. M had the... cucumber pistachio maple (cucumber gin with pistachio, honey and maple lime) and i went with the emancipator - a buffalo tracemanhattan. Both were tasty. M and I both got the tomato bisque. She was a fan, but I was not. As a bisque I feel like it fell abit short of flavor and smoothness for me for many other bisques ive had at half the price . Just too coarse and nothing complexin the flavor. Like a simplified tomato sauce with cheese on top. Enter the hand helds. I went with smash burger, herb friesand a side of mayo. M went with the chicken sandwich with same. Her sandwich was tasty, and large. The smash burgers, not somuch. She did comment that she'd seen larger patties at McDonald's. The sandwich overall was small, and not as much flavor asother pub smash burgers that I've had locally. I definitely expected more from the same menu that featured things like pork andfilets for nearly $40 per plate. The herb fries were little more than what tasted like frozen fries with a little coarse salt onthem. And the mayo was forgotten so I waited while the runner went all over creation to find it. Bless him. Overall.. I don'tknow that I'd come back unless I was trying one of the entrees. It would really be one make or break chance. Definitely notgetting the bisque or fries again. $75 for what we got wasnt the worst thing, but far too expensive. I wish I could give halfstars, but I rounded up. Read more

Pretty good food! Lovely interior. Reason for 3 star rating is that I thought the door was locked (reservation for 11:30 and the... lunch began at 11:30). Woman saw us multiple times as she walked in and out from the patio door and didn’t acknowledge ourpresence or ask if we needed help, found that off putting. Especially seeing that there was a reservation at that time. Once wedid get inside, I saw how uniquely decorated it was. Truly very nice. Again, our waitress wasn’t mean, but she wasn’t veryfriendly or warming. The restaurant was completely empty besides us, which I found surprising, as the website recommended I makea reservation at that time for lunch. Would maybe go back but probably for a different time of day. Would recommend! But thestart was thrown off due to the waiting outside for about 7 minutes. I had to call inside for them to let us in. Had an awesome experience at The Imperial. The food was good. Their Sweet Chile Glazed wings were really good, and they also... have chips that they make in house that are worth getting. The texture is nice, the flavor is good and they are not salty. I hadthe steak quesadilla and my sister had the imperial burger as our entrees. And the service was phenomenal. Even if everythingwasn't perfect (burger was supposed to have sautéed onions and mushrooms, but they were left off), Breanna went above andbeyond to make everything right and made our dining experience a great one. She was incredibly personable and attentive withouthovering. Read more

We stopped in just for dessert and some drinks and everything was wonderful. The servers were fantastic and attentive. I'm... looking forward to returning to try one of they're many vegan options. We plan to return for brunch this weekend. Read more

My husband and I had breakfast at The Imperial today. As hotel guests our breakfast was included in the price of the room, which... was nice, however we did not appreciate the super slow service in an almost empty restaurant (see the pictures). When we arrivedwe followed the posted instructions and approached the hostess in order to be seated. After that, we waited for 15 minutes forsomeone to take our order. The waiters would pass by our table and not even acknowledge our presence. It was the hostess whoactually took our order, apologized for the delay and expressed concern about the lack of personnel serving the few tables thatwere occupied. Maybe it was just bad luck. When we finally got our food (about 20 minutes after ordering) it lacked flavor andwas already cold. Definitely not a good experience for us. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is because of the ambiance andthe interior design of the restaurant. Read more

I cannot believe the rating isn't a 5 star. One of my favorite meals I've ever had. The chef puts so much thought into these... perfectly crafted entrees. The atmosphere and interior design is also beautiful. Waitress was available when we needed but notoverly intrusive during my intimate meal with my husband. Read more
