It was my first time visiting this restaurant as I try to explore the many options available in Lancaster. Made a reservation... and got seated on time. Ordered the Fritto Misto for starters and it was really good. Had the Woodgrilled Sword-fish and Buttonifor entrée. Overall the food was good. The cons on this first visit would be the wait time between courses and the noise levelinside. There was also a lot of foot traffic between tables given the size of the restaurant. I would recommend the outdoorseating option. Overall, it was a good experience. Absolutely wonderfully delicious food and service and atmosphere. The food quality is phenomenal and pretty much everything is... locally sourced. The heirloom tomatoes with burrata and focaccia was my favorite dish but everything was so good. Our sweetwaitress even gave us a onesie for our little one on the way. I cannot wait to go back again. Very good food & excellent service! It was my first time, though I?d always heard great things about the restaurant. It lives up... to the positive talk it gets and it deserves it, too. Would recommend definitely. Tastes like good, authentic Italian recipes.Staff is very accommodating. Prices for what you get are not bad, but it is more expensive. Make a reservation, it fills ipquick! Parking to the side of the building - take advantage of that. Atmosphere is very nice, homey even. Come by for a lovelyevening! Read more
The best pizza and flavors to come out of a wood fired oven. Dough/ crust was incredible. Every wait staff was friendly,... welcoming and accommodating. Sat at the chef?s counter and enjoyed seeing them in action. Very professional. Order a couple apizzas and still be able to enjoy their no traditional spin on gourmet Italian dishes. Easily in my top 3 favorite restaurants in Lancaster County. The whole vibe of LUCA is amazing. Beautiful interior design, great... staff, and amazing food. My fiance and I really enjoyed their bourbon/ cocktail selection. We started our meal with the Burrataappetizer with a side order of homemade bread. We both agreed we could have just eaten this as our main meal, it was that good!For an entree, we shared the Cappelletti pasta and the pizza feature and ended our meal with an espresso martini. What a feast of flavors. Delicate and innovative Italian cuisine. Luca is unique. What a hidden gem in the heart of Old Town... Lancaster. Make sure you make reservations days ahead because Luca is a well sought restaurant. Every season brings a new menuwhich explodes in your mouth with sensations and flavor. Everything is organic or home grown and I cannot even begin to expressmy excitement to go year after year and discover new things. Service is great and the food never disappoints! Read more
