19 Years! I've been searching for great Chinese food in Lancaster for 19 years and I've finally found it! I've been ordering... from Golden Gate for almost a year now and I can honestly say that every dish I've ordered from here is fantastic (and we ordera lot of food)! From the appetizers (boneless spare ribs and the shrimp dumplings are go to items) to all the dishes (beef andbroccoli, moo shu, shrimp and mixed veggies, etc) are all awesome. The fried rice and lo mein are excellent as well! Last butnot least, the owners of this place are friendly and helpful. There are some other decent places you can go, but if you'relooking for GREAT Chinese food in Lancaster, order from Golden Gate... I promise you'll absolutely love it! Read more

This is a small restaurant in the Grocery Outlet shopping center. We get takeout from here quite often. The food is consistently... good and fresh. Portions will fill you up and the prices have remained reasonable even during the pandemic. The owners are niceand I rarely have to wait long for my order. We especially like the cashew chicken and Szechuan dishes as well as the soups.This one is worth the stop. Read more

This was our second time getting take-out. It now may be our favorite Chinese food in the area. The prices and portions are... great. The flavors are good, not so artificial tasting as other chinese restaurants. We got their combination platter withspareribs, fried rice, sweet n sour chicken..all for $11! First time ever eating here and... WOW. AMAZING. I had the General Tso Chicken and it was honestly THE BEST I've never had.... Chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of crispy edges. Not like the chewy greasy stuff some placesserve you. I?ve been searching for the best Chinese takeout in Lancaster and I think I?ve found it. I had almost given up hope of finding... good chicken lo mein. I am so glad I stopped to check this place out. Just about as typical Chinese takeout as you can get asfar as atmosphere. One thing stood out to me though, this is a family business! My all time favorite Lancaster Chinese takeout(China 1 in New Holland, RIP) was a family run spot. When I noticed that here I got immediately excited. The service wasgreat. Prices were typical. Nothing on the crazy high side. They do have lots of specials on their menu which is nice if youlike combos. The real winner here is the food. Tons of flavor and cooked perfectly. The service was fast, staff friendly, and the food is excellent. Shrimp were very big not like the tiny ones they usually ... give. Vegetables were tender and crisp, perfectly cooked.
